Pre-COVID, we had a lot of good sushi restaurants. Now, it’s just been Fu-Ki that serves good sushi! How do I know!?! Order a spicy tuna roll wherever you go. If it tastes fishy or overly spicy, then don’t bother ordering more. Just head to...Fu-ki and get sushi that is well worth the price!👍🍣🍱🍚🍙🍶😀More

We went here to celebrate a birthday. It was great fun interacting with thr chef as he prepared our food. And everyone was happy with the taste of their food too. The scallops were even cooked just right!

This place is a joke! The food and sushi wasn’t great but we ordered a sushi roll that was the server, Tracy’s, recommendation and the roll was absolutely horrible! (Of course only recommended the most expensive things on the menu) Took one bite and sent...it back, Tracy came back and told us that the chef tried our meal (that we sent back) and said it was fine. Did not offer us anything else, did not apologize, nothing. So we get the bill and notice that the dragon roll was still on it, we asked the busser if it was supposed to be taken off (since we didn’t get to eat it or anything else, Tracy took it away) and Tracy comes back with the bill and informed us that it’s policy they do not comp any meals if the chef thinks it tastes fine. First off, what restaurant has this policy?! Second off, who tries the guests food and tries to prove them wrong if it doesn’t taste right?!? I am not one to send food back normally but when seafood tastes off and I don’t eat it, please take off something YOU recommended. The way Tracy and the restaurant handled this made it a very easy decision to never come back to this restaurant. There are ways to handle situations and she did not come across sincere whatsoever.More

The at the table grill is almost passable however it is not what it should or could be. We also tried just regular ordering from the menu on our second visit in hopes of having a nice bento box lunch, wrong, not any good at...all. Will not waste the time for another visit will just have to travel over to Spokane for some halfway decent Japanese food.More

This was without a doubt the worst meal I have ever --- EVER eaten. Grease is the catch word. a 10oz rib-eye steak is nothing more than an cheap, greaes fried pan steak. The Pricing is out of sight and you want a Tums when...you leave. Do not go to this place!!!!More

Being spoiled by having Japanese chefs in my life in the past always makes reviewing Japanese food a challenge. For the area, Fu-ki is excellent. It always shocks me how many restaurants in the area are not using fish that is very fresh- the ocean...is 4 hours away. The experiences at Fu-ki are not like that. The fish has been fresh and the dishes well prepared. I have not eaten the teppanyaki only watched from across the room but it looks entertaining. It is nice that they offer children's prices for the Teppan dinners for people with children capable of dining that way. The salmon skin salad is something I might knock somebody out of a chair to steal. The sushi done with cucumber instead of rice is good but I would like the cucumber to be thinner so it does not come apart. The flavor however was excellent. It is nice because they have choices on the menu that are not all the cream cheese and surimi (fake crab) rolls that are the usual in most area Japanese restaurants. I LOVE THAT THEY SERVE ONO. It is soo good. I miss ono and was soo stoked to find that they serve it on the menu. I come off sounding spoiled but for the discerning palates, know that this restaurant is worth stopping in Post Falls to visit. I would recommend it on your travels through the Pacific Northwest especially because the prices are very reasonable and the staff are great.More

GREAT food and service. Enjoyed a wonderful variety of Japanese food with authentic flavor. Enjoyed EVERY bite. The service from Kyndra and all of the staff was friendly, helpful, and FAST. I swear to God, the moment I heard the slurp of my drink running...out, the hostess came to fill our glasses within 10 seconds 😍 I am very happy, and a bit tipsy.More

If you're looking for a show while your meal is being prepared, then this is your spot. If you rather have amazing food then it's probably worth skipping. The scallops were easily the best part of the meal. The teriyaki chicken was decent. I think...4 stars may be a tad generous.More

Got sat very quick. 3 people in our party. We ordered the calamari tempura appetizer. It tasted like grease soaked mushy fish stick bites. 1 person ordered the New York steak and shrimp. 1 ordered filet mignon and shrimp. And the last ordered the New...York steak and chicken. We all had fried rice. The chef we had was very messy. I was sat directly in front of him and he flung rice and oil on my plate several times. The food was very mediocre. The onion soup tasted like beef broth with soy sauce. The salad had decent taste but the dressing looked like watered down pepto bismol. The rice lacked in flavor and werent all cooked thoroughly. The meat was tender but not were completely overcooked and tasted like nothing but butter. The shrimp were overcooked and chewy. The vegetables were the last thing he prepared and they were so not uniformly sliced that either it was way undercooked or way overcooked. The 2 sauces they provide you in the beginning are the most unappealing things I've ever tasted. The service isn't much better. It took almost the whole meal to get a refill and when she did, she brought me back something that wasn't mine. The restaurant as a whole appears very dingy and sad. It smelled like a cross between nasty fish and air freshener. At the end they charged the 15% or so gratuity. When I confronted them about it, they said they charge that to parties of 6 or more. Apparently they assume everyone at the table were together. They lady was nice and took care of the issue. I was in no way okay paying that price for a tip, let alone the amount the food came to. For the 3 of us was 105.21. Definitely wouldn't recommend this place.More

Enjoyed this fun restaurant twice in the last six months celebrating family birthdays. Entertaining chefs delight with their knife handling skills and comedy. The appetizers were yummy, but the main entree chicken meat was overcooked and dry for several of us. The sushi was mighty...tasty and didn't last long in our group.More
