We found this hidden treasure while staying in Post Falls. We had a sampler plate with pork ribs, andouille sausage, brisket-plus home made cornbread, bbq beans, home made potato salad & I had the gumbo- which was out of this world!!!! They have authentic cajun dishes-and these folks make all their pies from scratch!!!!

Prices seem to be slightly high compared to other BBQ places I've been to. Ordered the pork sandwich and they were running a special so it came with a side so I guess normally it doesn't. Did not see fries ot Mac and chesse a bbq staple so I went with the slaw. The chopped pork flavor was good but... More

This is a great place to go for BBQ. Had the brisket and ribs, both are exceptional. And the home made pecan pie for dessert was a slice of heaven. Do yourself a favour and have a meal at Famous Willies, you'll thank yourself afterwards!!!

Known for it's TX style decor; not so much for a TX style BBQ flavor. I lived in San Antonio for 16 years and was hoping for at least something similar to a mesquite-tasting BBQ. The meat had a "cooked yesterday and warmed-up flat flavor and was dry. A disappointment to say the least. The pecan pie was just okay.... More

Tiny place, good prices, fast, very fast and friendly service. Sandwiches start about $8 and go up to the ultimate platter with three meets and four sides for $20. Parking for about eight cars in the rear. Fresh pecan pie available.

A great quick stop for a sit-down BBQ meal. The beef brisket is fall-apart good. The jalapeño and Cajun sauces are excelent. The potato salad is great. Very quick service in the middle of the afternoon for a late lunch.

This is the best kept secret in Post Falls. A tiny house on a back street with amazing bbq, sauce and service and if you are lucky enough to get there on a Saturday (and early enough that it's not sold out) you can get buttermilk pie. OMG.

Regrettably, we have not tried this place sooner for as much as we visit the area. They are excellent. Their emblem boasts the State of Texas, but I'm getting more of a cajun lean from this joint. They smoke with oak, so it is a much more subtle overtone. Their meats are some of the leanest I've seen in pitmaster... More

Best BBQ I have had in the inland Northwest! Had the deluxe rancher plate, the wife had the Frito pie. Everything we had was good.
