My husband and I ate here on the recommendation of our hotel and we had a very pleasant evening, though the food needed a little work. I ordered the crawfish bisque with the shrimp avocado salad. The bisque was quite good and had a lot of flavor. The salad was large and very presentable, but I found the amount of red onion a little overwhelming and the dressing needed some zing. My husband ordered the pork tenderloin and found that it lacked seasoning. He was not unhappy with his meal, but felt it needed some work to make it a winner. The waitstaff was friendly and knowledgeable and the atmosphere was surprisingly quaint and warm. Don't let the whole entrance through a gas station dissuade you from eating here.

A hidden gem is right. It is a lovely restaurant. The menu was how we made our decision to dine here. We shared the halibut with crab, served with risotto and vegetables. Salad and wine, too. Our server, Gabriel, was professional, attentive and efficient. He told us the history of the restaurant. It was a relaxing, lovely meal.

This place is unique as it is located in a Chevron Station. Fear not you will not be disappointed. Service was awesome, salads great, pizza tasty, and a good selection of desserts. I would have given it five stars except for two things which are easy to fix. The pizza crust was a preformed commercial crust rather than fresh hand tossed. This was a pity since the sauce and toppings were good. Secondly was the Tiramisu which contained too much marscipone and not enough masala infused custard. This resulted in,a cream cheese spread. Fix those and you have a five star location. I would recommend this location to anyone.

The food service shortage really must have effected Cafe Tuscano. We came in on a Sunday, it wasn't too busy except a party that had came in directly in front of us. The environment was bleek and the staff was cold, borderline rude. It was a terrible exspirence to wait an hour and a half just to feel like our time was an inconvenience. It was 50 minutes to just receive our appetizer and half our side dishes at the same time. The appetizer must have been forgotten on the table because by the time it got to us the basil was soggy and it was very cold and stale. After about a hour and a half we had to finally throw in the towel and just cancel our entrées. Our server pretty much ignored the whole area of customers that were seated in our section and offered little to no explanation to our wait until we were about ready to leave. Definitely going to think twice before coming back. The soup was pretty good though.

We had heard great things about this place. Unfortunately, they were not true. Ordered the Crab stuffed Halibut with Risotto and was disappointed. Extremely small portion for the price, Halibut was over cooked and dry, under seasoned, Risotto was chewy and bland. Service was mediocre, more interested in the larger parties.

Recommended by the front desk agent at Home2 Suites, a short walk away. that it was "over-the-top Italian" and best Italian restaurant in town, too. It was that, but there must not be any other Italian restaurants in Pocatello! We saw the "margharita pizza" and were told it was the best we'd get "outside of Naples." Well, that wasn't true! Great service, great ambiance, but the pizza arrived with the crust in a perfect circle, even all the way around. That was because they must get their pizza dough from the local gas station convenience store. It was obviously a simple, frozen, crust off the sysco truck with nothing special about it. The salad was good, but not exceptional. The service and drinks were good and made a nice evening. The pizza? A huge disappointment.

It is a quaint restaurant that is currently expanding so one side is under construction. It has charm and warmth, with friendly staff and homey decor. I had the mussels as appetizer and lasagna as entree, followed by a tasty dessert. I didn't expect to find such good Italian food in the area but its truly a gem. Don't be fooled by the outside, as I hear it used to be a gas station? Bartender was great and had been there a ling time so she was very knowledgeable about the food items and what to expect from them.

This was a great little spot for lunch as we headed from Salt Lake to Yellowstone. The place is very nicely done inside and I loved all the art scenes painted on the walls. Our sever was very friendly, very efficient and so pleasant. Make sure to get the Brie and blackberry flatbread. The caramelized onions gave it a nice flavor. The Toscano salad is full of different flavors. Lettuce was nice and crunchy, olives added a salty touch and there were small bites is prosciutto and salami scattered in it. I would definitely eat here if I pass through Pocatello again.

Stopped in Pocatello while travelling from Tetons to Moab and found this online. I was set for a good meal after camping for the past 6 weeks and was not disappointed. I had the Pork tenderloin which was wonderful. Sat at the bar so service was quick and attentive. Small bar but you can see the kitchen activities from there. Thursday night and it was about 2/3 full, mostly local regulars, judging from the interaction with staff. Interior was pleasant and they are expanding the seating area.

Our first visit. Loved the decor. The menu was tempting as we had been in Italy one month prior. We tried the appetizer Flatbread with caramelized onions, brie, and blackberries. To. Die. For. Husband had tri-tips and fettuccine and it was excellent. I had chicken caciatoriew Penne also excellent. Prices were reasonable, portions were large, and service excellent. Highly recommend.

I travel to Pocatello every couple of years. I liked this place years ago when it was one of very few independent restaurants in town (still is). Back in the “old days” the restaurant was connected to a good wine shop, so diners could buy a decent bottle and drink it in the restaurant for a small corkage fee. The wine shop is now gone and the restaurant’s wine list is charitably “less than adequate.” E.g., their high-end Chianti (for which you can pay $7 a glass) costs $10 for the bottle retail. The food hasn’t improved over the years —. it’s still OK, not great. Service is inexperienced. Entrees come with soup or salad. Of course, you will be very hard-pressed to finish before your entree interrups. When you’re finished, plan to wait at least 30 minutes for your check. I’ve now learned my lesson and won’t be back. The chains offer better food, wine and service. Hello, Applebees.

This place has a diverse menu and the items we got were delish… prime rib wrap, shrimp/avocado wrap, Italian wrap, and caprese salad. Hannah provided superb service. This place’s decor is wonderful and there are plenty of sectioned off areas, so the noise level is low. We rate this place way higher than Elmer’s!

Our hotel desk clerk was enthusiastic about this restaurant so we gave it a try. I had the Tri-tip fettuccine and my wife had the chicken piccata. Both were delicious and perfectly cooked. The chicken was moist and delicious and the risotto it came with was excellent. We made room for Tiramisu which was perfect. Would highly recommend this place. Staff was also friendly and helpful. We would definitely return if the occasion arises!

Food was good. Service was in the top 3 worst I’ve ever experienced at a restaurant. Kendall was our waitress and from the beginning acted like she really wanted us to just leave. We were a party of 15 so she knew she was going to get her 20 percent gratuity so she really didn’t care. Also, looking at our account this morning pretty sure she doubled that gratuity which was most definitely not earned. From start to finish took nearly 3 hours and the place was not busy at all. Probably will not be going back.

This is a great Italian Restaurant. We really enjoyed the wine selection and pairings. We were seated promptly and by a friendly hostess. (Young Blonde girl, sorry I didn’t remember your name). We didn’t have a reservation. Then a lovely young lady by the name of Aubrey waited on us with a smile. So enjoyable to visit with and she shared her ideas about the menu with us. Great suggestions, enjoyed Shrimp Penne and chicken penne with artichoke and veggies. Service was prompt, friendly and professional. Value is well worth it. Surprisingly inexpensive. Thanks again Aubrey
