A quirky, excellent place with delicious and fresh food! Been going here for years, absolutely love the gyros and memories. My dad makes sure to stop here every time he's in town.

Absolutely inconsistent quality. I ask for extra onions and I end up with a gyro nearly empty. This has happend on more than one occasion. Cheap meat also. Looks like some sort of cheap processed imitation meat pumped out of a tube. In fact, I...think it's imitation meat. I'll bet the owner will lie and say this does not happen and that the meat is real. Inside of the place is cheap, dingy, and rundown. They use a chap microwave to heat things. People are given cheap cups to get water with from an even cheaper water pitcher. Place is where "stupid people meet." Such a filthy and cheap place, much like the people who serve the food. The employees are poor, just look at their filthy clothes. I'll bet the employees hide when someone they know walks in, total place of embarrassment to work.More

We love going to Mikey's. My wife loves their Leapin' Lizard pita. I always want either their lamb/beef deluxe gyro (You can tell them how much meat you want to pay for) or their nachos with gyro meat on - great food, nice artwork, homey...atmosphere. Order at the front and they will bring your order to your table. I dunno how they know which meal goes with which person, but they never fail!More

In a world of fatty burgers and fries Mikey's is a heaven sent change of menu. Decades of satisfying food has been served countless hundreds of thousands customers. Come in Hangry and leave HAPPY with a new found love for the best gyros in the...entire Northwest. Oh what a splendid and wonderful place to eat. If you are looking for ambiance and top notch nose in the air service, this is not your place. However if you want excellent food at an incredibly low price with a very friendly vibe this is the place. Can't go wrong eating here! ❤More

Mikey's is a mainstay in beautiful downtown Moscow. Loved and visited by all ages and stages of life, Mikeys has a solid gyro based menu that is reliably good. Great place for lunch with a friend.

Fast, fresh, tasty gyros for $4.50, best deal in downtown Moscow for a quick lunch or dinner in an artistic bohemian setting. Very similar meal at The Halal Guys (a gyros franchise that is spreading nationwide and in Canada,Indonesia,Philippines and Malaysia) is over twice the...price, the pitas are not as fresh or tasty, which was surprising as they go through a ton. Mikey's takes the time to grill/heat their pitas. Halal's meat is chopped up into little pieces and hence a bit dried out. Halal Guys famous white sauce is a runny mayonnaise with flecks of black pepper, not anything spectacular. Mikey's gives you choice of different tasty house made sauces. Mikey's beats Halal Guys hands down in every category, taste, value and ambiance. Mikey's is commendably environmentally friendly with reusable baskets and metal forks. (Halal Guys use plastic cutlery, paper plates lined with foil or deep foil pan plates with cardboard covers for platter orders).More

Fresh house made gyros that we're loaded. Loved every bite. The meat was nicely cooked. The Baklava after was really good, too. Cute downtown atmosphere.

Mikey’s is located on Main St. Moscow Is. it’s in a funky old building housed along with a hawk shop and a right out of the sixties full on hippie shop complete with tie dye clothing. Now to Mikey’s, their GYRO pronounced YRO for all...you unknowing is excellent. They do not spare the lamb, traditional with lettuce tomato red onion. It’s a full on salad and GYRO all in one. They offer it as a salad as well for you who do not want the calories of the rap. They usually have 2 or 3 beers on tap. The Gyro is 4.50 reg. Or 5.50 deluxe. A word of note, you must request feta cheese, you are in Idaho after all. Land of the hamburger.More

This locally-owned place is a staple of downtown Moscow. The food is unfailingly tasty and well-made. The soups vary from day to day and are always interesting and delicious. Ingredients are fresh and good quality. Beer and wine are available as well as other beverages....The only drawback is a cumbersome ordering process, so at busy times you may be standing in line for a while before your order is taken. A great place to eat if you are not in a hurry.More

Man, I thought this place was a total hole-in-the-wall in a college town, but wrong-o. They are right smack in the middle of Moscow's historic main street, and were way more sophisticated than I perceived by online reviews/pictures. How they can keep the lights on...with their prices is baffling to me? They..are..crazy...affordable--and great. You might as well make your gyro deluxe, with more meat and fixins, because it's only $.50 more ($5.50). And, be smart and order their Greek Sampler platter ($7). We did not get a chance to try the Spanikopita on the platter because they were out, but they added more delicious hummus and pita. No issue for us, haha. All veg products were very fresh, and with Mediterranean fare, that is key. The college-kid hostess/cooks/servers were friendly, efficient, and kept a very busy place hummin'. This place was a great call by my gyro-lovin' 16-yr old, while we scoped out the college campuses down here...More

Whether you're looking for a great Gyro Tabouli salad for baklava this is the place to go! Don't let the dark, dirty appearance scare you away. The food is excellent!
