As somebody who is spent lots of time in Thailand, I was surprised to find a little bit of authenticity in Idaho. The food was amazing, but my server was really the one who went above and beyond. I really wish I could remember her name but she was a young thin Thai girl. In Thailand, food is traditionally served with a carousel full of spices ( vinegar, chili pepper, fish sauce, sugar, ect) as Thai food has to have the savory 5 flavors. While they didn't have this carousel of spices, I let the girl know what I needed and she was quick to give me a little sides of all the spices I was talking about because she knew exactly what I meant. As well as Thai food they also serve sushi rolls. While their prices are in my opinion a little high I'll be galad to pay it with the quality of food and service. I will definitely be back to get my Thai food fix!

Excellent Thai food in the Treasure valley

Amazing authentic freshly prepared Thai entrees from Pad Thai to Pad See Ew, to many a wide a array of curry based entrees. Also freshly made sashimi and sushi also an offering nightly. Delicious coconut based soups as well. It is a small and fills fast and you must arrive late ( past the dinner Boise time) to grab a table. Did not mention the appetizers which can be made into meals as well. Fresh and deliciously prepared.

Pretty happy with the yellow curry

Visited for a quick lunch. Ordered the yellow curry which was delicious, though a bit on the lukewarm side. No major complaints and would probably go back next time I'm in town.

If your a true Thai Food lover this is NOT the place to eat.

Having lived in Thailand and a great fan of the food I was hoping Sa Wad Dee would be my answer for a close Thai restaurant sadly it was horrible, sorry Sa Wa Dee. The spring rolls were tasteless filled with lettuce and one shrimp each, really? The sauce was good and masked the lifeless lettuce and single shrimp. Soup was large strips of over cooked chicken and large thickly sliced mushrooms etc. Pad Thai was almost totally congealed in the bottom of the container, reheating did nothing. Scratch Sa Wa Dee you should as well

Good But Not Great

My wife and I love Thai food and we have visited every Thai restaurant in the valley at least 2 or 3 times. It had been a while since we had been here so we thought we'd give it a shot. The service was extremely slow even though they had plenty of staff. Both having our order taken and getting our order took a very long time. The food was fairly good. It just lacked the pazazz good Thai food typically has. My wife returned a couple of weeks later with her father and had a similar experience. This was just our experience(s) and yours may be different.

Far too sweet

Two signs posted near the entrance/host station admonished customers that Thai food is spicy and that they would not refund orders if the food is too spicy for the customer. Our family loves spicy food so we thought maybe we are in the right place. We arrived as they were opening for lunch on a Sunday. It was several minutes before anyone acknowledged us. After that snafu, service was good. The dining room was clean and comfortable, and eventually it was filled with what appeared to be happy diners. We ordered a range of dishes including some that we asked for it to be spicy. The fresh rolls were very bland. Everything else was sweet beyond belief--even the dishes that were supposed to be spicy. I couldn't finish it--it was that bad. Maybe some people like main dishes that have a 1/2 cup of sugar in them, but we don't. And not just pad thai either (which many places make sweet). Thumbs down.

Good Thai food

They made for as per our spice level requests. Server suggested rice paper roll, which were tasty. Mango friend rice was made with our inputs and was excellent. Service was quick and friendly.

Great atmosphere, lovely food and a good portion. Definitely coming back for another visit before we head home. The food was flavoursome and not too greasy.

Decent Thai food!

Hard to settle for just any Thai cuisine when one has lived & dined in Orange County, CA but this place rates as a”I would go back” so check it out! Had the yellow curry and drunken noodle. A bit pricey but who knows what is relative $$$ in these insane LGB economic disaster?!

Treated poorly regarding masking even though masks were not required by District Health

We HAD been enjoying this restaurant but the food quality had been dropping rapidly. Last time we went, they were requiring masks even though neither Central District Health nor the city was and they demanded to see my medical exemption for mask wearing, (huge HIPPA violation) as if wearing a mask for 10 feet makes such a difference. I contacted the owner and found him less than receptive to my medical exemption. He kept saying that they're trying to protect the other customers, which is ridiculous since you take the mask off as soon as you sit anyway. I told him that he had lost a long term customer and I would be sharing my experience with others.

Tasty food

We went here for my belated birthday celebration this year and I was sadly disappointed that they had no sushi chef or sushi available--that's typically the only thing I go for! I tried one of their Thai rice dishes--the mango chicken--and it was delicious! Not as good as my normal sushi, but I think they took a page from Thai Express. The food was yummy, but more expensive than Thai Express & the other restaurant's food costs a little less--plus it's closer to home. I likely won't return to this restaurant until they offer my favorite sushi again.

Nice service, good food

Recommended by locals, we enjoyed this Thai restaurant when we were in Boise. We thought the service was quite good (accommodating our large group), and each of us enjoyed the dishes we ordered there.
