We had lunch here on the patio, Saturday about 2:30pm. It was not too busy. We waited 45 minutes to get a table at the patio. I ordered a chicken pot pie (was still doughy in the middle) side salad was ok. My husband ordered...the Tri tip which only came with a few pieces and came with only one side dish (cauliflower stuff). He was still really hungry and disappointed with the amount of food he received for $18. Definitely not worth $18. Then we shared a huckleberry, peach cobbler. It was not heated, a lot of hard crust and only a few peaches and huckleberries inside. We don’t mind paying $46.00 for a dinner IF it’s great food and portions are good. Also, the service was very slow. It’s unfortunate the food is not great and the service is slow. The patio is nice and dog friendly. Last time we ate here in June 2020 the service/food had issues back then too. We already decided we won’t be eating here the next time we are in McCall. There are plenty of other restaurants to choose from.More

I have never been treated in a restaurant the way I was treated here. Waiting for our table and were asked to order and wait at the bar area outside the restaurant. Went inside and were asked to go outside and order. Once outside, we...got our beers and went to sit down inside the bar area. We were kicked out once again and immediately went walking to figure out what to do. The bartender went outside and yelled at us for waking outside with our beer. We have never been treated like this in any location. I will absolutely NEVER be back and will always tell people to stay away from this awful restaurant. Good luck if you do.More

We ordered the fish and chips, the elk blue bacon burger and cheese curds. The fish was very good, the fries were good, but the blue cheese on the elk burger was very overwhelming. The root beer had a distinct taste but was a nice...add to our meal. The only downside was that it was very cold in the restaurant, we had to keep our coats on for the entire meal. Check your ticket before paying, our total was wrong but corrected immediately. Appreciated the attentive service, our server kept checking on us.More

We wayyyyy over ordered because everything looked so good; not a beer drinker but the guys are and they tried a sour, hazy IPA and a cider they guys liked them all. We destroyed a pretzel with beer cheese, chicken wings, Butchers platter 🍖 which...were all delicious. As a person that doesn’t eat gluten I had one of the best GF pizzas 🍕 in memory! The flatbreads were inhaled and shared amongst the table. The winter salad 🥗 looked amazing and they have STACEY CAKES 🍰 for dessert! I can’t wait to come back....More

Stopped for lunch with my hubby. I had the pot pie, which was recommended by our server. My husband had the beef dip sandwich. I was surprised that our order showed up very quickly—approximately 7 minutes, which apparently wasn’t long enough to cook the pot...pie properly. The puff pastry crust was slightly browned on top, but was gummy and raw underneath so I couldn’t eat it. I would have told the server and asked fir something different, but she never returned to our table to see how our meals were. Won’t be backMore

We stopped in for a beer and it was exceptional. They even had root beer freshly brewed locally. The staff were very nice, and the bartender was exceptional. It’s a nice place to stop in. Killer beer too!

OK 1st off I had 2 beers and both of the IPA's were very good. But the problem was with the service. It seems they need to train the waitresses to actually be attentive to the customers. If when I arrive I say I'm going...to have a beer and when I order another one, I may order something for dinner. I don't need a waitress stopping and asking me if I'm ready every time she walks by.5 times in 10 minutes. She is very sweet person but needs a mentor to actually teach her how to be a server. 1st off when a beer is more than half full I'm not ready for another one. Next It's rude to stop and ask a question every time a customer takes a bite of food when they can clearly see thier mouth is full. It is also rude to comment on how fast or slow a patron is eating. I realize business is slow, but I would have stayed there longer to watch Monday night football as intended if I wasn't pushed beer after beer literally every 5 minutes, Wait to at least have a 3rd or a quarter of a beer left.More

With the exception of a frazzled hostess that reminded me of Lucille Ball in the Candy factory. THIS PLACE ROCKS! Excellent service from China and Sarah and Cutler and Robert. A shiver and a black and bleu elk burger will put a smile on your...face ! A great value too!More
