We had a great chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries here. It seems to be where all the locals hang out. If you want a heavier meal the main entrees are around $20 and up. It sits on a river with outdoor seating.

We were on our way to Yellowstone and stumbled upon this place. The view in the back with the river is stunning. The service was very nice and quick and we all enjoyed our food. The menu has pub style offerings with a twist. The burgers were excellent, I really enjoyed the lettuce wraps and the soup of the day... More

We stopped here for a cocktail and boy were they good. Ended up getting an order or wings to go and they were excellent. The menu looked amazing and we are planning on going to dinner there tonight!

We have been to TroutHunter countless times over the past several years. The waitstaff is always very friendly, and you cannot beat the views of the river. If you can land a 20 inch plus rainbow trout behind this restaurant, you will have an audience and congratulations from all. On our last visit, we had bruschetta, bison burgers, and steaks.... More

Trout with scrambled eggs would be nice but I didn't see any on the menu so went for the eggs with bacon & sautéed onions with mushrooms holding off the toast & hash browns. That did the trick & was washed down with the usual run of the mill coffee. Service was just fine. Lovely view on the terrace of... More

We stopped in to grab a quick lunch. The view is serene off the back outside dining area. Beware of the time of day. In the afternoon the sun can be tough during the summer. There are no awnings to shade the tables. We tried the fish tacos and found them to be less than satisfactory. The Buffalo Burger and... More

Had dinner on our last night in Yellowstone. We stayed at Anglers Lodge and their restaurant was not good at all. Trout Hunter was great! They fit us in even though they were very busy. Great atmosphere, local feel. Food was good and drinks were good as well. Would go again if we ever head back to Yellowstone.

Had a large family dinner on Friday night- food was terrific! Loved the ribs, funeral potatoes and surf and turf. Service was wonderful!! With the high ceiling is it a bit loud but fun!

Good place to stop for lunch. Next to the river with good views and a nice outdoor seating area as well as air-conditioned indoor seating. Fast and friendly service and a wide selection of beverages as well as food options. We all enjoyed our meals and found the price reasonable.

We try to come to island park once a year for a mini get-away fly fishing trip. Fly fishing is fun here and we almost always find morel mushrooms. Trout hunter has cooked these up for us every year and this year was amazing! We also ordered sweet potato fries, shrimp skewers and a buffalo burger. Burger and skewers were... More
