Excellent food and service! My wife and I are at Smokin Fins on Halloween night, so the staff were appropriately dressed for the occasion. Our server, Grace A., Was fantastic. She was knowledgeable and politely helped my wife decide on Gluten Free items. Some items...are clearly marked GF, and most menu items can be adjusted to be GF. She settled on the Honey Chipotle Salmon, which was perfectly cooked. I had the Ribeye, and it was also perfectly medium rare. Yes, we would certainly eat here again, but it's a long way from our East Tennessee home.More

We stopped in Idaho Falls on a road trip for lunch and chose Smokin Fins because we heard the food was good. We were not disappointed. The location is central to the riverwalk and is the restaurant is bright and lively. Really a great atmosphere...and fun.More

Had the pistachio crusted halibut and it was wonderful. Calamari was not good and we sent it back. Mango shrimp tacos were delightful Our server was very helpful. I ordered a 16 oz. draft beer and was charged $9. No where on the board showing...beers on tap or on the menu was the price of beer shown - I can see why.More

This is now our favorite place to stop for dinner or lunch. The stuffed avocado appetizer alone is worth coming for.

Found this place on Trip Advisor while traveling through town and it did not disappoint. Right on the RiverWalk, I had a sushi roll that was the best ever. Having living on the West Coast most my life, one hesitates to order sushi in a...land locked state, but honestly this was great. Huckleberry lemonade made it perfect!More

A lot of what they serve here is extremely over-spiced; almost to the point of you can't tell what kind of meat you're eating. While the service inside is often great, we found the service on the patio could be improved. I asked for a...water without ice and it took forever to arrive.... after our meals came, actually. there were misses, but when they get it right it's a pretty good place. Hence, my "3."More

Stopped here on our way to Jackson Hole and are so happy we did. We were a group of 6 adults with varying tastes and we all loved our food. We started with the pork potstickers and 2 sushi rolls- mango tango and spicy tuna-...and loved them. Entrees were just as good-six spice ahi, shrimp tacos, pistachio halibut, Polynesian poke bowl, Nashville chicken sandwich and prime sandwich. One item after another topped the last item. Our service from Max H. was top notch and prices were reasonable. If you end up in Idaho Falls, go here!More

My family stopped and ate here on our way home from a vacation. My dinner (fish and potatoes) were dry and very small portion. However, when I told the waitress about it, she alerted the manager who came over to apologize and made it right....The service was great and the hospitality was over the top! Hard to find this in establishments days.More

We stopped in unplanned on Mother’s day. While I could not get a reservation we still decided to pop in. So happy we did. The atmosphere, service & menu were amazing. The Vegas & Spicy tuna Sushi rolls were fantastic. We also had the poke...bowl, rare tuna salad, Smokin Mac cheese and then the bread pudding, crime brûlée cheese cake, berry cobbler. Every single thing was so so tasty and the best food we’ve had in the area. Happy hour on Sunday from 3 til close was a bonus. Seafood was fresh and there are so many things we wanted to try…. This is the second time I’ve eaten at this restaurant, while passing through Idaho Falls to other destinations. Each time, I’ve ordered the pistachio encrusted Ahi tuna, served on garlic mashers with grilled asparagus. It was affordable priced, and delicious both times. The servers were...so friendly and attentive, the wine list had numerous choices, and the location near the Snake River and my Marriott was an easy walk. I’ll keep going back, even if the menu has changed - fabulous food!More

Busy Sunday brunch but we had reservations. Our server was nice but was busy and rushed- meal arrived in spurts. We had to ask for refills on iced tea and coffee. They ran out of shrimp for Bloody Mary at 11:50 am so she substituted...extra bacon. Our appetizers took 40 minutes. Meal arrived after 1hour. Eggs were firm not runny for Eggs Benedict- no bacon arrived as side order. Asked for regular bacon and served sriracha bacon. When asked for my order of regular bacon was told they ran out of regular bacon. We have been before- service is iffy- depending on the day and staff.More
