I really wish I remember my servers name but she was prompt, nice, and went out of her way to make lunch enjoyable. She was an older lady that knew what we want or needed before we asked. The French dip with home made fries was comfort food and the Huckleberry Cheesecake was a refreshing change. Next time FINGER STEAKS... More

Bed was hard. Lack of shampoo for the shower. 9" tv/ DVD player in a huge room is hard to see. Ice cube trays leaked out water.Bedside lamp was too wobbly to stay up, and had to prop in the corner. For $99 a night, I expect better.

We were passing through and in need of refreshment. The locals recommended this place. Great selection of whipped cream and fruit pies in a quirky setting. So much to catch your eye - old hand crank ice cream makers, kitchen utensils used as light fittings, you'll smile as you eat. Great service too!

Terrific burgers and onion rings. Friendly attentive service. The homemade Oreo pie was excellent! Only wish I had been hungry enough to try more than one kind of pie. Great little place. Worth the drive.

The best homemade pies, generous portions & a perfect place for family. Their biscuits and gravy he are to die for. There huckleberry cheesecake is their specialty.

We love stopping into Trudys Kitchen for a great breakfast, lunch or dinner. The trick is to have your Pie or cake before you eat their generous portioned meals. We love sitting by the fireplace when we go on those cool days.

For city dwellers like me that find themselves exploring scenic Idaho Trudy's deserve the drive to Idaho city. The steak fingers are out of this world and yes, you must try one of the pies for dessert. Although one of my friends had the huckleberry cheesecake, that too have no parallel.

Had breakfast and it was superb! 2 omelets, large portions, hot food, please services. Don't think there is a better place in town, then again, why eat elsewhere?

Idaho City is about 45 minutes north of Boise up a two lane highway through a beautiful valley. Well worth a drive up to have breakfast or lunch. A great place to stop and eat is Trudy's. It is a tiny town diner. The breakfast is served until the cook yells out "breakfast is over" (about 11 am). The service... More
