I rarely score 5 but this place - how did I live in idaho most of my life and not know about it? The food and service were amazing. The reason I gave 'value' only 4 was that a $10 dessert was a bit on the small side (yet absolutely remarkable). The menu changes according to availability, but each item is sourced locally and the source is noted on the menu. I echo other reviews: every bite was succulent and divine, layered with flavors and textures and colors and unusual ingredients that resulted in an extraordinary dining experience. I would especially recommend CK's for romantic dinners as well as small groups of friends

Our meals were delicious and the ambience was lovely. My starter- a chilled cucumber soup was a knockout. The fish of the day was a beautifully prepared halibut. My dining partner said his shrimp cocktail was the best he has had. His trout entree was tasty and the side of fries piping hot. The house special carrot cake was a standout and the Triple Threat dessert worth every calorie. I don’t know why more restaurants can’t turn out flavorful, thoughtfully prepared dishes like CK’s. Highly recommended!

Our first time here certainly did not disappoint! Their patio is shaded and ruined with beautiful flowers and greenery. The menu was inventive with several options that made it difficult to hoose just one dish. All food is housemate, which adds to the flavorful quality. Each bite was a delight!

We were six friends catching up and enjoying a beautiful evening in Hailey, ID in late June. We ate at CKs and were impressed with the service, food, and ambiance of this first-rate restaurant in the Sun Valley area.
Our waitress was friendly, knowledgeable about the food, and willing to accommodate alternative food options for various dietary needs. The wine was impressive, and the food was excellent. We will return again soon!

A rare treat up in the mountains of Idaho! Welcoming staff and every bite is brilliantly crafted. Definitely my favorite spot in the Wood River Valley. The menu changes according to the local fare available.

My husband and I LOVE coming here during the past six years for special occasions and always have a great time with wonderful service and food however last night wasn’t so smooth ( but the food was still great ) unfortunately the server we had started out quite professional and almost robotically happy until I came back to the table from a quick trip to the bathroom only to realize my cocktail was missing . I asked her why it was gone and she aggressively blurts out “ it was empty “ I told her it wasn’t empty it just wasn’t full “ to which she replied “ I can add one to your bill -( after we had already paid ) so I said okay , sure - she comes back with some nonsense about voiding something out when in fact she charged us for two instead of one . Odd considering we paid for a drink that was taken away . We weren’t there even 45 minutes before she did this , not only that but i heard her try and take away some plate of food from the lady behind me . I don’t know if this is customary here now or if they just have a bad egg working there but it was insanely off putting and she is really rude. My husband and I came from out of town and this experience really put a damper on the night . The food and everything is too notch and Everyone else seemed accommodating and very friendly but she really sucks . No offense .

I loved CK's, recommended by a local, supposedly owned and operated by a local this was amazing. From the kind service from Jeanine to the delicious food (squash blossoms, Wagyu beef, German chocolate cake) I thoroughly enjoyed my experience.
Sat at the kitchen bar watching the chefs multitask beatifully and calmly. The staff seemed happy and joking with each other.
Go here if in Hailey.

My wife and I greatly enjoyed a recent visit to CK’s. Her halibut and my Idaho trout were both among the best entrees we have had over the past couple years. Starters were also very good: her chilled fruit soup and my beet salad were excellent.
Service was professional, yet casual, on the restaurant’s very pleasant outdoor patio.
Highly recommended!

Generally a very fine restaurant with good service and nice people.
One exception the slow cook chicken was a real disappointment. Last nights dish reminded me of chicken noodle soup. The order was small with minimal chicken, mostly soup broth and gnocchi instead of noodles. This is really a soup appetizer, not an entree. Also very expensive for such a plate.

Booked here on the recommendation of a local. Daily specials in addition to a regular menu. Everything was good from appetizer through dessert, with a reasonable selection of wines by the glass. I enjoyed everything and plan to return. Service was also very good - no issues. The ambiance of the restaurant is very nice, with a lovely outdoor courtyard area. Make sure to have a reservation.

My first Vesper cocktail ever was a true classic (just like I am becoming). Perfectly smooth! Loved the introduction to it!
Rib eye with melted garlic butter was fabulous! Perfectly cooked. Love the side broccoli shuffle.
Cod lettuce cup appetizer special stupendous! And loved the classic wedge salad.
I usually only come here when I pick up my husband at the airport, but now I may start making special trips from SV.

We were in Ketchum for the weekend, and dinner @ CK's Real Food was the best meal of the trip. The menu was interesting, food delicious and service absolutely excellent. Oh, also the ambiance was simply lovely. Highly recommend!

I wanted to sample the Sun Valley area and had the opportunity to dine at CK's. Delicious trout and corn cakes along with a Hemingway Daiquiri. Janine provided exceptional service and a pleasurable atmosphere in lovely Hailey. As good as it gets.

Bau Buns are excellent! Pls put on permanent menu! Best I have ever had. Lots of good pork with hoisin sauce! Black cod & lamb excellent too with a strong wine list! Wonderful staff too. Can't wait to come back!

CK is RAD!
Katie took great care of us! We might be considered high maintenance- and she just was awesome! Best chicken in the west - and we do chicken - it’s finger licking’ good!!! Seriously - we eat world wide for work and so fun to come back to Idaho and have a great meal that’s world class!
We are first timers - but the halibut entree has us hooked:-)
