We were staying in Arandjelovac and friends told us to visit this restaurant. They have told us it has a good ambience and delicious traditional food. We went and were wellcomed very friendly. We started with a good salad and rakija (genever) of fine quality....After this we a veal soup. Very tasty. The lamb was very tasty as was the mixed grill. We didn't have place in our stomachs for a dessert, because everything we enjoyed to eat including the artisan bread. Instead we have drunk a Serbian Coffee. The prices of food and drinks are low compared to the quality. When we come back to Arandjelovac we will surely visit this restaurant again.More

If you have a family-young children-go there and your kids can feel what it means to live in village. In the meantime, you can enjoy having a very good food, atmosphere...very pleasant place to stay 3-4 hours.

The title says it all.Fantastic food,service,...The google map however with the positioning of the restaurant is inaccurate. The actual place for the map is some 50ml eastwards near the town of Arandjelovac.

A very nice traditional restaurant that truly worths a visit... Well... just follow the signs of the road... They will lead you to a wonderful place. Warm atmosphere, friendly staff, delicious food and very reasonable prices. Even though the signs made us think that this...is a touristic place, we were proved wrong. Personally I found it as an ideal place to go after touring at the countryside around Belgrade. Keep up the good work!More

Old school style, classic Serbian service (welcoming but not smiley). Lovely peaceful setting at the top of a hill. The food was bountiful, home made, fresh and delicious. When we asked to buy a loaf of home made bread to take home, we were offered...it for free. It was made by an old woman who's been making the same bread in the same way for years. I wish I knew how. Seriously - visit this place. Just do itMore

Karadjordjev Vajat is a must go if you are in Sumadija. It is so good that it is worth a trip from Belgrade as well. The food is excellent, the personnel very warm and friendly and prices are very good. The food at Karadjordjev Vajat...is food for your soul. Everything is produced locally and home made and the atmosphere is unique. The restaurant is located high up on a hill in Orasac close to where the first Serbian uprising was started. Hence, before or after a nice dinner at the Vajat I can recommend to visit these historical grounds as well.More

This restaurant is a bit out of way but it is worth a trip. Great goat meat and Serbian grill. Settled on the top of the hill with a great view. Local white wine was extraordinary.
