I visited this gorgeous tea room and shop a few years ago. It was absolutely beautiful. I have always purchased candles and soap from here, since then. The tea room is sadly closed this year, for very obvious reasons but Helen has done a wonderful...job of keeping us up to date with her products and offering extra click and collect options, in Assynt for those who are visiting. I would highly recommend this lovely local business.More

We discovered this little oasis of calm on our bike ride a couple of years ago and recommend you visit this small but perfectly formed tea garden. At the time we had no means of carrying anything so I ordered soaps online when we returned...home. They are delightful and beautifully fragranced and packaged. Since then I have tried several of their products and have never been disappointed with the quality and fragrance. They make lovely gifts too. I’m also impressed with the speedy delivery and customer service. Thoroughly recommend you visit .More

Spent one happy tea time in this place, but will definitely come back! Do stop and enjoy tea, and their shop... They even have black (!) cocoa ice cream...!

We have visited here a couple of times for coffee and a mooch around the shop. Freshly made coffee with a variety of cakes are available. This is all set in an ideal area.

This falls under the category of one of those too good to be true places, but it really is. You enter the tiny village of Drumbeg perhaps welcomed as I was with sheep grazing on and around the road. It’s then hard to believe there...is this boutique candle shop which would look perfectly at home in Harrods in the middle of nowhere! They produce a delectable range of contemporary candles in all sorts of stylish Highland related scents. Then there is the enchanting tea garden and an array of cakes and drinks that again are very on point. A rainbow cake akin to what you would find in a Soho House is but one of the delightful parallels. It’s a joy that they also offer various savoury treats. I chose a piece of cake and a tea, looking forward to this moment of tranquility only then to be confronted with the fact that there is a minimum spend for contactless and so came to end my pit stop in paradise. I found this disparaging especially if you are a solo traveller it feels prejudice. It’s not like there is anywhere near to get CSH. What a shame. Not so cosmopolitan in the end.More

Stunning drive from Lochinver via Stoer brings you to Drumbeg. Had already read the reviews and wanted to come to the secret tea garden. So glad we did. Looks very unassuming from the road but don’t be deceived. Candles and other products really good quality...couldn’t resist treating ourselves.More

We perhaps visited at around the same time as the people did who left a previous review. We had the impression from the English lady who served us that she was not particularly interested in our business. Very cool with us and we had to...work hard at getting any kind of interaction or response, let alone a friendly hello. The place was empty. Perhaps it was an off day. Most people who work in customer facing jobs have those, but try hard to put on a face for the paying public and not let it show otherwise you risk giving a poor impression when a customer visits and lose revenue.More

Not quite sure what nationality has to do with it! But couldn’t agree more and 99.9% of the time that’s exactly what we do - smile & carry on.

Seems that Scotland closes on a Sunday but this cute secret garden does not, thank goodness as we were very hungry! Had the cheese and oat cake platter, very tasty and nice to chill out in the lovely garden. Some fantastic aromas with the candles...too.More

Just love this hidden gem. Try to visit every trip. The products are lovely as are the staff. The tea garden is great. Lovely coffee and a scone in a garden sheltered by hedges, flowers and sunshades. Serenaded by a robin and sometimes a cat...deigns to pass by. 🐈More

We visited here when we did nc500. This tea shop was 1 of the best places we found. We went to coco mountain ( we were not impressed ) but I have to say this tea shop is a million times better not only cheaper...but so much nicer and better service and the cakes are amazing ( and I'm not a great cake eater ) the garden out the back is amazing. I would recommend this tea shop and drumbeg is buitifullMore
