The sushi was not bad. Fish was reasonably fresh and tasty. Everything else was awful. Teriyaki consisted of sauteed protein drowned in sweet teriyaki sauce, that had never seen a grill or a broiler. Chicken udon was as bland as can imagine. Chicken tasted like it was sauteed in dirt. Service was mediocre at best. Beer was skunked. And to... More

I did not want to go there to begin with , but one friend said it was a decent place. Bad mistake. We had a big selection of sushi and sashimi. Fish was mushy, rice was not the right type and not cooked correctly. The worst thing is- two people out of four had upset stomachs. Stay away from this... More

Mistaken for an other restaurant that has very high ratings. Very small and dated dinning room. Staff noisy and not friendly. Didn't offer help with our choice and acted very distant. Spring rolls were greasy, the Maki-Maki rolls "Fiery" and "Panda" were marginal. Rice was not dried properly and the Nori seamed very chewy maybe stale.

I love these people. Consistent food and service. My favorite is bbq eel bento box for lunch. I like the sushi boats variety for dinner. Go for the 24 oz asahi.

Visited this restaurant for lunch with family . We had ordered lunch specials - Bento box - Shrimps Tempura and Chicken Tempura . For drinks we ordered Green Tea. The lunch specials come with salads and Miso soup. The bento box has sushi, tempura, rice and fresh fruits alongwith dips and special wasabi paste. The food quantity and quality is good.... More

Lighting was harsh and far too bright. I had the hibachi meal consisting of soup, salad, chicken, shrimp, scallops, and steak. My steak was cooked just right, but it was chewy. Chef was awesome! Hostess was very nice. I probably won't go back. Food is better at Kyoto on Fairview Avenue.

My favorite Sushi in the Treasure Valley. Okay, this place could use an update in decor. The sushi is always excellent and fresh. The tepanyaki table is great and fun. I really enjoy eating here and have been over 30 times over the years. Great service, reasonable cost. Have never had a bad meal or experience here.

So I didn't actually visit this restaurant, O But I Will!! I ordered Shrimp Yaki Soba and it was utterly delicious! I paid about $14 and had a very yummy miso soup and side salad with tasty dressing included. Very much worth the money.

We LOVE Tepanyaki restaurants and had never visited here before. It was the cleanest Tepanyaki restaurant we've ate at in 3 states! Very generous portions, more meat/seafood than we've ever ordered. We will for sure be back bringing friends and family. Our cook was talented and had new tricks we'd never seen before.

Thank Mag S
