Love Syringa. Everything is well prepared and delights the eys and tastebuds. Nigiri has the perfect ration of rice to fish unlike most other sushi places around that use way too much rice. Reservations are highly recommended, but have done ok without one as well.

My wife and I always order sashimi when visiting a sushi establishment. The fish quality is always evident because you cannot hide stringy, off-flavor fish. We are regulars at Syringa, and we can report that the fish quality is mostly good, but my wife usually complains that one of the fish has excess connective tissue, and it is mostly the... More

We enjoy coming to Syringa for sushi and sashimi and would usually rate this as an average sushi place however this time they excelled. The fish was fresh and tender with no stringiness to any of the cuts what so ever. Even the Monkfish liver was fresh and yummy. My hubby let me have the oyster. I wish there were... More

Great little Sushi restaurant on 3rd. Nice rolls and sashimi. I had the miso soup and a side of seaweed salad. Very good. The restaurant was a bit noisy. Our group ate lunch the drove to the lake and hiked Tubbs Hill very beautiful afternoon.

Went to dinner and we both got the chef's choice sushi. Extra charge for choosing a specific roll (him) but that wasn't a surprise. Very happy with chef's choice of roll (me). Super great service and our server was quite knowledgable. Sat on the patio. Loud road noise, but pleasant in the shade late in the day. Will be back... More

My wife and I took a friend from out of town who is a huge foodie and love Sushi! She, my wife and I were very impressed! My favorite was the Vegas Roll. The menu has a large selection of different rolls, appetizers, and meals all at an affordable price. Service was excellent. The ladies really enjoyed the Lemon Drop... More

How lucky for us that Syringa stayed open later than most restaurants in CDA ...called Syringa..and she said come on by. The place was packed at 9:00, but we were seated within minutes. The sushi was delicious..the ghost pepper sauce was AMAZING! Ask for it on the side..it was a huge hit at our table..we all loved it. Our waitress... More

Four of us gathered here during Restaurant Week on a very, very busy Saturday evening. Thankfully we had a reserved table and in spite of the crowds, the staff was friendly, attentive and efficient. Each course of food took a little longer than expected to arrive at our table, but when it did, it was worth the wait. The poke... More
