Not fancy at all but good breakfast spot. We arrived early and it was filling up by the time we left. Service was attentive. Food was good.

This is a must stop breakfast place. Small but quaint, service is top notch, friendly. Had breakfast, "The Skillet Griddle" very good. Watch out for the Ghost Pepper sauce" it will make you cry, in a good way. My daughter had the Eggs Benedict, 5...stars! Get there early, seating is limited. Price is worth the meal. Enjoy.More

It took us a couple of years driving past several times a week before we realized what a treasure Franklin's Hoagies on 4th St is. For last year now we've been eating there at least once a week. We've tried places all over CDA and...Hayden but Franklin's is by far the best breakfast out there and the prices aren't outrageous!! Joe and his crew are really on top of their game!! Give it a shot....you won't be sorry.More

I was staying next door and had wanted to try Franklin's but each time I came by they were close. The day I was able to get in, good thing I arrived when I did because they were closing early. Sad that there is such...a staff shortage because this place is a GEM! I had a fantastic steam sandwich; although the portion/ sandwich was on the smaller side it was very tasty. The staff was very friendly; definitely trying to get the place cleaned so they could shut down but they were still attentive and friendly. Wish I could have eaten here more. Bigger sandwiches would be a nice add.More

Took a bite out my sandwich and half swallowed a long dark hair! Almost chocked on it. Took it back, they really didn't say much, just wanted to see our receipt and only refunded the one sandwich(we had two meals) So they pretty much didn't...give a concern about their customers well-being or if we would ever come back. Another 'I don't give a s**t' owner, that I won't give a s**t if they fail...More

Great, ample, reasonable priced breakfast under the arms of the tree in the deck. This is a must visit breakfast locale.

Great food and friendly service! They treat you like a friend instead of just a customer. Best red breakfast potatoes and sausage gravy in town. They fix it how you want it every time.

Atmosphere, Service and Food were Outstanding! My husband didn’t want to go at first when we pulled up. But once inside, he was glad he listened to his wife.. 🙂 The place is now his favorite. Waiter was awesome!

We ordered the Philly cheesesteak omelette and California Eggs Benedict to go. It was made very fast despite the fact that they were busy. The waiter was very friendly and made sure that I had all the utensils necessary. My wife is eating keto and...they happily substituted tomatoes for the English muffin.More

Great food very reasonable prices. I had the Philly steak and cheese which was awesome not greasy , flavorful with grilled onions, peppers, mushrooms and provolone cheese. My husband had the biscuits and gravy which reminded him of the quality he used to get in...Pennsylvania . We visited last year and stopped this year on our drive from Montana to Seattle . This place is great for breakfast. One of the best Omelettes ever. Had the veggie with ham. The service is outstanding and the patio was great. They even have good coffee not that watery brown piss most places serve!

Franklin's serves our favorite breakfast in CDA. Their vegetarian omelets are the BEST, and that is from confirmed breakfast meat eaters. You really can't go wrong with anything on their breakfast menu. If possible, be sure to grab a seat at the counter. Joe (the...cook and owner) puts on quite a cooking show in addition to giving out good information on anything you want to know about the Coeur d'Alene area. We make it a point to eat breakfast at Franklin's at least once a month.More

Visited Franklins for lunch for the first time with my daughter. The seating area is nice and they also have takeout options. The Philly Cheesesteak and French Dip was great, prices fair, and the service exceptional. They also serve Tim's Potato chips which is a...reason to visit in of itself. Suggest you try the tomato horseradish sauce (Called Donkey Sauce) that is fantastic. I will be definitely back again. This is definitely a place to visit if you are in Coeur d' Alene.More
