Checked out on web looked like fun. Saturday morning, good crowd excellent service. Corn beef hash lacked onion and potatoes, just meat. Biscuits are a challenge. Bothered by flies, no fun in the morning. Overall, ok, a little pricey.

Our seats could see into the kitchen area- big mistake. We saw an older gentleman employee knock some toast off of a plate. He picked it up off the ground, put it back on the plate and brought it out the the guest! Later, we...saw him sneaking a bite off a plate before bringing it out. My wife asked our waitress to bring over the manager so we could tell him privately. She brought him over--- it was the man from the kitchen! Awkwardly told him what we saw... he said "next time we won't seat you by the kitchen" then walked about. Really!More

Our waitress, Mya only put in 3 of our 5 orders. When she brought out the 3 meals, we asked about the other 2 and she realized she forgot. We told her we were in a rush so we didn't have time to wait for...the meals. Of the 3 meals we did receive, each of them were missing an item and none of us got our toast. We asked about this and she rolled her eyes and came back with one piece of white toast that was burnt to a crisp. We asked to speak to the manager and the owner came over. He said "I won't charge you for the two meals you didn't receive" ...that was his apology! Not charging us for the meals we didn't get!? We told him our other issues and asked what he could do to help. He said, and I quote "I've been in business for over 50 years, I'm not worried about making you guys happy." Verbatim. Unbelievable! A table next to us overheard and got up and left without ordering. Terrible experience.More

A must have breakfast stop. Prices good, portion size was large, service friendly and fast this is a great restaurant. I can’t say enough good thing about this restaurant. Don’t miss the best breakfast you have in Coeur d Alene.

We had the stuffed French Toast and a meat, eggs & hashbrowns meal. I enjoyed the French Toast, but felt it was overpriced for the amount of food received. Hubby's breakfast was good/average but again, overpriced for the amount of food he received. We may...try it again for lunch.More

This was absolutely a treat! One of, if not the best breakfasts I have ever had! The Irish Benedict was amazingly delicious! Not to mention the stuffed French toast, loaded hash browns, and pigs in the blanket! My family loved it! But don’t leave with...out a pecan roll! Wow!! 1 fed a family of 6! Thank you Jimmy!More

We stopped in here on Sat for a couple of pecan rolls to go on our way back to Canada. We had seen the lady on Diners Drive Ins and Dives making them with Guy and we said if we ever get to Coer d...alene we need stop in and get some. When we got there they were not out of the oven but Jimmy thought he had two left, which we took and were on our way. When we started eating them they were extremely dry and not a lot of pecans, caramel sauce or filling inside the rolls. They were probably the day befores baking and not very enjoyable considering they were $6.00 US each. I would go back to try the breakfasts but the rolls were a hard pass again if we are to return to the diner.More

This was our first time eating here and boy were we extremely satisfied with the service, food and ambiance. The breakfast entrees are delicious and they’ve got several customer/local favorites that are definitely worth ordering. The pecan rolls and cinnamon rolls are huge and definitely...worth ordering as well. Highly recommend this place!More

This place was great! We couldn’t get into Canada for a visit so spent time in Spokane and CDA. Wonderful spot for a tasty breakfast or early lunch. The tip I got from Carrie about adding a little salt to my French Toast added to...our experience. From our 16 year old to grandpa everyone was still talking about Jimmy’s days later.More

My wife and I were a little anxious about visiting Jimmy's. It had been featured on Diners Drive-ins and Dives, and often than not such places either rest on their laurels or are overrated from the start. Jimmy's did not disappoint. I had the Country...Fried Steak and Eggs, my wife the Stuffed Hashbrowns, plus a pecan roll. Obviously, none of these items is an innovative entree. But all were well-made. If there's a complaint it's that the portions are HUGE, especially the pecan roll (three-quarters of which we took home). Even with that, it's worth a stop if you're visiting CDA.More

Food was meh. I had the Jimmy's Skillet Breakfast. I could've got that anywhere in town, Denny's, IHOP. The service was terrible. We got seated at the counter, the stools were extremely uncomfortable, We asked to move when a table opened by the window and...that was good, We waited a long time for our food., Eventually, a different waitress came by our table and asked what we ordered. We told her that we had ordered the Jimmy's Breakfast Skillet. She said that the skillet had been sitting in the kitchen window for some time. It was lukewarm, at best, when she brought it to our table. Apparently, our waitress dropped our check off on the corner of our table and we didn't see her do it. I waited a while for our check and finally went to the register to inquire about our bill and she said she already dropped it off. Imagine sitting in a restaurant and the waitress slips the check onto the corner of your table without even saying a word. She never inquired how the food was or thanked us for our business, Will not go back.More

My wife and I had a great breakfast here on July 4th. We split the corned beef hash and eggs (+2 eggs on the side) and a famous pecan roll and both were delicious. My wife generally doesn’t like hash but loved it here! The...staff was friendly and the service was good too. Although there were signs that the meals were prepared from scratch and could take time to cook, our order was on our table in 5-7 minutes after we ordered it. Definitely recommend this place for breakfast with families and friends.More

We split the chicken fried steak that came with mashed potatoes, both covered in delicious gravy. It also came with cooked vegetables. It was enough for both of us. It was $14.99. We were going to get a piece of pie with ice cream but...we were full. Their pecan rolls were huge and we heard people talking about how good they were. Everyone we talked to recommended we go. We're glad we did. We highly recommend it. Pricey but tasty.More
