I have been here on several occasions and based on today's visit I will not ever return. Corned Beef Hash and Eggs was a huge let down. Served cold! under cooked potatoes overcooked eggs. The hash was smooshy not caramelized at all, toast seemed unbuttoned. I had to ask for hot food and potatoes still not cooked eggs overcooked again,... More

We visited on Mother's Day, and enjoyed the brunch. The eggs Benedict was very good, and they had a vegan version, which was also tasty. Three meats were offered, salmon, lamb, and ham. The lamb was quite good, and the ham not bad, but the salmon was so dry it was like chewing sawdust. The fried potatoes were good, but... More

This was a surprising delight. We happened on it while in Coeur d'Alene for a meeting. We had a very pleasant dinner. The food was excellent. My wife had a mushroom soup from locally foraged mushrooms and fish tacos and I had a stuffed chicken breast. Both were amazing. The soup was, in particular. The atmosphere is very pleasant and... I go there about once a week for happy hour and occasionally for dinner.. They have excellent dinner food and reasonable happy hour snacks that are very good.(the fish tax=co is delicious) Wine choices by the bottle are good and they have a nice choice of wine by the glass with reasonable prices. Very helpful servers. I have always had... More

We had four people for breakfast and it was horrible. They forgot the cheese in an omelet? Bacon was undercooked. Service was marginal. Only saving grace was that they comped the cheese-less omelet. Great for dinner or lunch. Bad for breakfast.

Always good food and excellent service. This is such a good place for most meals. The menu is creative and the service impeccable. The owner is always on hand and he and staff are fully committed to customer satisfaction.

We were looking for a new place to go for date night. The ambiance was really great - the booth was cozy despite the high ceilings in the main dining area which typically make it difficult to hear the conversation. We halibut and mahi mahi tacos and they were fantastic! Already planning our return.

Bistro on Spruce is a nice dining option away from the heart of the CDA shopping district. The menu is large and varied, with a number of gluten free choices. The decor is reflective of the Pacific Northwest, with a large Orca motif over the entry door. Staff is friendly and helpful. The food is good, although we could not... More

Love their fish tacos. Great service too. I was especially pleased that, when I left my credit card there, I called to find out it was safe and that they were willing to send it to me. (I live in Spokane.) It saved me a 60 mile round trip, for which I am grateful. Will visit again the next time... More

A very nice cozy intimate neighborhood restaurant in Coeur d"Alene with an excellent menu, and wine/beer selection. Attentive service and gracious host.
