Great space for a late dinner. Basically a bar with extensive offerings of beer, cocktails and wine. Wide ranging menu best had on the patio overlooking the lake.

Beautiful setting to watch the sun set. The menu had great choices? I had the Caesar salad with a martini and was not disappointed!

They have a very diverse menu and lots of beer choices. We had the Kobe beef sandwich and we are going back for another one tomorrow. Also, the Caesar salad was amazing. Topped it off with the berry cobbler which is a must have dessert. Great restaurant with reasonable prices in lovely setting. It's next door to Anthony's, so you... More

My wife ordered the turkey burger on special and asked to swap the Gorgonzola cheese for cheddar. 10 minutes later we were told they couldn't change the special so we had to change our order. Then 10 minutes after that, I was told they needed to sub the chicken on my chicken salad for hot chicken instead of cold chicken?... More

This is a bar-that-serves-food, not a restaurant. I know, I know, it is all the trend to have noisy, airy, custom-brewery-type of buildings that add a menus and appetizers, and call themselves "dining establishments". Not that it is a bad thing. On a Friday night, letting off steam, it is kind of fun in a family-friendly-Hooters sort of way, but... More

Bardenay is an Idaho favorite and I've eaten at several before. The Coeur d Alene location is right on the CDA River and has indoor and patio seating. The menu is broad and offers a wide range of American cuisine, mixed with some Mexican and other dishes. Daily specials are always available. The wait staff is very friendly and accommodating... ordered their wings and they were okay. tasted like something i have had before. the sauce was overpowering and very sticky. i ordered the rib-eye and it was good, but the aragula and the dressing was too much and removed it all to actually taste the steak. very hard to talk since it is very hard to hear, but if... We have eaten here almost weekly for many years. Until recently we have had great service and became friends with the wait staff. However, lately we have not had the level of service that we came to appreciate. For instance, tonight my husband was served the wrong dinner, had to ask three times for catsup, which finally arrived when his... More

Very reliable service and food. Great choices on the daily menu. I have been here on date night and several business lunches.

I was travelling solo so ate at the bar. They had a full menu and the service was good. You can request a tasting of their distilled products (Vodka, Gin, Rum), all of which are good - but due to state liquor rules you cannot purchase a bottle. They can give you directions to the nearest store if you would... More

Description
Established in 1999. With three locations in Boise, Eagle and Coeur d'Alene that capture the spirit of Idaho and the Northwest, Bardenay Restaurant and Distillery is a cornerstone of Idaho's restaurant and bar industry. The original establishment is located in a once empty warehouse on the Historic Basque Block in downtown Boise, Idaho. On April 25th, 2000, history was made when we served the first cocktail to included spirits distilled in a restaurant in the US. As the nation's first restaurant distillery, Bardenay has set an industry precedent as the first full service restaurant and bar with the ability to create handcrafted liquor on-site. Our distillers are happy to give tours as time allows. Please ask your server if you are interested in a closer look at our operations. p.s. We are only allowed to sell our fine spirits by the drink. If you would like to purchase a bottle, you may do so at many of our state liquor stores.
