The population of Clark Fork is a shade over 500 so it's surprising to us to find a very good restaurant in this town. We had a couple of wines, salmon, and the duck breast. Included with the entrees were excellent bread and dip, soup, AND salad. Everything tasted great. The server was very good as well. Only negative was... More

My niece and her husband recommended we visit The Squeeze Inn, which seemed like it took forever to get to from Coeur d'Alene....but the drive was pretty nice, much of it along a lake that also seemed to go on forever. We got there just in time for the restaurant to open; we walked around a bit outside, looking at... More

This was a great surprise to run into such a great place in such a small town. Our meal was great, from the wine and beer selections to all of our food - my husband had the bacon wrapped duck and the salmon ravioli and I had the green chili enchiladas and fennel/Brussel sprout tacos. It was such a treat... More

My partner had been here several times in the past, although it'd been a while since the last visit, but it's where she wanted to go for her birthday dinner. I'd done my research on the web and was surprised at their menu. Really adventuress and quite a surprise to see such variety ... especially coming out of the little... More

"For the best food, eat where the locals eat..." For over 2 decades this family owned and operated culinary delight has been the go-to place for all of us in a 30+ mile radius, because the food is always worth the drive. "Bar food" is the only alternative for the entire length of Highway 200 through Idaho and Montana...and I... More

After reading the other reviews, we decided to take our out of town visitors to the Squeeze Inn and all of us were very pleased. Yes, it's a little funky, but the food was top notch. The cook came out and talked with us about how we wanted our dinners and checked back to see that all was well. With... More

Decor is old and somewhere between eclectic and fun. The food is absolutely marvellous. EACH entree includes a warm sourdough loaf with olive oil and balsamic vinegar for dipping .. Followed by a bowl of the "soup of the day" which was the best butternut squash soup of my life ... This is followed by a delightful green salad with... More

Just couldn't bring ourselves to stick around long enough to eat. Eccentric restaurants are fun but this one is just too quirky. Unattractive decor with a feeling of uncleanliness was enough to make us consider leaving and when the server responded sharply then proceeded to the kitchen , hacking and coughing as she prepared food, we just left.

Stopped here by chance while kayaking in the area. I admit I had very low expectations by looking at the curbside appearance. The food had the flavors and choices of very high end restaurants. The only disappointment I have is that they are not open year round. If the open sign is on I will stop and so should you.

A funky little town in north Idaho has an amazing little restaurant with great food! IN the summer, there is a group of young thespians who give weekly performances of shows they write themselves. The show is just ok, but the food is fantastic and worth a trip out to Clark Fork!
