I enjoy the good food and service at this restaurant regularly when in the Cascade area. Current owner Grandma has been there 18 years. It is a place for locals and ordinary people. If you are snooty about where you eat, this is not your place. If you enjoy traditional cafe food and friendly staff, stop in, relax and enjoy.... More
I have breakfast at Grandma's every Wednesday morning with a bible study group. We always enjoy our breakfast and the service. Dolly is a sweetheart. Free Wi-Fi!
We arrived late in the day and were very hungry, but they took us in, and fed us gloriously! I had the meatloaf - spectacular! Everything seemed to be made from scratch including the warm bread and rolls. Reasonable prices and generous portions! I think this will be a stop we will make for breakfast as well!
No matter if you are eating breakfast, lunch or dinner Gramma's restaurant is my favorite place to eat in Cascade, ID. The service is great and the food is always good.
We ate several meals while in this area, and always returned to Grandma's Homestead Restaurant. You get plenty for your money, but the main reason we kept coming back was the waitress. She was so friendly and helpful. Our grand daughter needed to do some work 'online' and they allowed her to take a booth for the entire day in... More
The food is reliably good. The service was slow but the self-serve salad bar allows multiple trips on your own. This long-time venue right on Highway 55 served breakfast, lunch, and dinner , all at reasonable prices.
Not many places to eat in Cascade, Idaho, but we asked several local, people what they would recommend. They suggested Grandma's. Arrived for early dinner, by the time we left, the place was filling up with local folks. The only waitress, was welcoming folks coming in by their names! Food was very good, the service was great.
Have stopped several times for breakfast and lunches with family. Basic food, probably best in area we've tried. Nothing to get excited about - Unfortunately. Really would like a great basic cafe with strong coffee in Cascade area. Nice stop before heading down or up.
Grandmas has always been the go to breakfast spot for us. I also like the salad bar. Sunday morning was busy and with only two waitresses, everyone needed a lot of patience. The food was good and priced right.
