Me and my wife drive all across town to go to Joes. We got there an hour before the posted closing time on their store and online but the light was off and doors are locked. We were very upset if they say they're open till 11 all their door and online then they should be open.

If your not from the South, larapin means it's really good food! We have eaten here three times, twice prior to moving here and again today. Great trying all the new places but we knew we wanted to return to Joes Crab Shack. The food is fantastic and the staff is over the top friendly. Welcomed to Idaho with smiles,... More

The building might be more fun in the summer when there are people on the green belt. It has a beachy feel that is odd when it's frigid outside. The food was okay. Nothing special. My fiance, who grew up on the coast with fresh fish didn't care for the look of the fish inside her battered fish and chips.... More

For quite some time we wanted to try Joe's Crabshack. When we pass by, the parking is always full and the restaurant seemed very busy. Finally one Saturday we were able to go to lunch there. Once we got inside this big shark hanging from the ceiling greets you. There were quite a few nautical-inspired themes which were interesting, too.... More

They reduced the menu significantly and not for the better. Drinks were really good but food was so so. Our waitress Ainsley was really attentive, nice and friendly so service was not the problem. Need to revamp menu and then actually taste final products. Would also be helpful if they notated if items were spicy on menu. Had the east... More

Had crab legs they weren't very good and for the price they should be fresh. Will not be returning there again.

I stayed here during the preseason of basketball season. The Portland Trailblazers stopped in to eat lunch which made my visit a little better. The problem is the wait staff kind of forgot about me and paid attention to the basketball players. Other than that, the restaurant was just average. Joe's serves way too much fried food for me!

Joe's Crab Shack has some of the best atmosphere in town! It is located right along the Boise River on the green trail. The food tastes even better if you combo this meal with a walk or bike ride! I spent a lovely fall evening with $3 beers during happy hour and $20 all you can eat shrimp. I have... More

Good food and a fun place to eat. We take my Mother every time we go to Boise to visit. She loves the shrimp...
