OK, first of all this was the cutest little place I've ever been--it had that old diner feel and was just adorable! They also had nice outdoor seating, but we chose to eat inside. The food was also amazing--it's the kind of place where I...wanted to try four or five things on the menu and couldn't decide! I ended up with an omelet that was very good. The potatoes were amazing, which we had come to expect while visiting Idaho (seriously, they're so much better than at home). I decided to splurge and order one of the crepes for 'dessert' and I was so glad I did. It was a tough decision to decide to between the raspberry and peach. I ultimately went with the peach and it was just incredible. I wish we'd been in Boise a day or two longer so we could have made a return trip to The Griddle. I'd highly recommend for anyone visiting Boise!More

The food was really good and they had quite a few unique things on their menu, like funky French toast or a breakfast quesadilla. The prices and portions were good. The service wasn't great though. I think maybe she had a few too many tables,...but she only came around once to check on us and it took a while to pay after we finished eating. I would still go back though.More

My husband and I were on a road trip and we saw the reviews on TripAdvisor for this place and decoded to gave it a try. I ordered steel cut oats and fruit cup. My husband ordered two eggs over medium, white toast, bacon and...hash browns. The restaurant was busy for a Wednesday morning and noisy. May be difficult for someone with a hearing problem. But the food was delicious. The fruit was fresh and a nice variety, blueberry, raspberry, bananas, strawberries, pineapple and watermelon.More

This place is very local with a small town cafe feel. I expected to see the local sheriff drinking coffee at the counter. We had the eggs and hash. Delicious! Coffee was strong and hot. Only criticism is that waitress did not refill the cup....Otherwise it is great. I’ll go back tomorrow.More

Take me there!!!!! It sounds amazing. I went there when I turned 3 years old. I can still taste the pancakes. I actually visited this place on a trip.

I got the Pecan Waffle which was delicious. Sliced bananas and chopped pecans were good. Also very moist but the waffle could have used my texture. Not sure if I really tasted the bacon caramel sauce but it was scrumptious, so no complaints. Also the...inside is really nice with bar setting like an old diner.More

Everything we had for breakfast was fresh and tasty. My husband had an omelette, I had huevos rancheros, and our friend had the country benedict. All were very good. Two things that weren't perfect: they don't have orange juice (we're from Florida so maybe we...didn't realize everyone doesn't serve orange juice), and the coffee was just so-so.More

We met friends here for brunch on their recommendation. There was a bit of a wait, but it was definitely worth it. Good varied menu, with something for everyone, even chocolate pancakes for the 7 year old with us and espresso for the coffee lovers....It’s also a great place for a conversation - not too noisy, no distracting tv screens. There is plenty of outdoor seating too, though it was a bit too warm and sunny for our group the day we were there.More

Loved my meat lovers omlette! Ordered a hot cake so I could try that also and it was one of the best I have had. Spouse loved her ham steak and eggs. So much food we took half home for next day's breakfast. Fresh squeezed...OJ was also good.More

We stayed in the hotel near it, so we walked over and got seated. Service was excellent. I ordered the 2 eggs and meat. I had my eggs scrambled, and for the first time in a while, they actually got my eggs scrambled! The sausage...was delicious, and they put butter on my muffins. Definitely will come again.More
