Looking for consistently great tasting Thai food? After several visits my palate was continually pleased. The variety and generous proportions were worth the visit. Friendly staff, reasonably priced and pleasing atmosphere with ample seating make Pad Thai House a good choice for large and small groups.

We had never had Thai cuisine before but everyone who had been to Pad Thai House raved about the food. With that in mind, we ordered a variety of dishes that had been recommended. Starting with the appetizer plate, which included fried tofu (which was like fried cheese curd) and egg rolls with delicious sauces, we were impressed. The chicken satay and golden fried shrimp were cooked to perfection and very delectable with more sauces & an onion/cucumber pickled salsa. The Som Tum salad & honey roasted duck were both worthy of a 5 star rating. All the flavors of salty, sweet, sour, & unami were identifiable & combined expertly. Needless to say, we were offered "to go boxes" even before our meal was served! Must mention that the Thai tea is very sweet with milk on the top & tastes much like a milkshake, even better than bubble tea! If you want excellent service on the weekend, ask for "Thawai" who is personable, attentive, energetic, helpful, efficient, and my new best friend from Thailand. Can't say enough about the way she enhanced our Thai dinner experience! Can't wait to go back for another great Thai meal. Also, If you can't stand the heat, remember to order MILD!

Having never been to this, or any other Thai restaurant, we were a bit nervous about how our meal experience would be. We ordered take-out for two couples. All of us enjoyed our food, with the requested "mild" level of spiciness. We didn't get very adventuresome, but the fried rice, shrimp and broccoli, veggies and chicken, and kung pao beef were all well prepared, had pleasant sauces, lots of good ingredients, and were a good value, Several of the dishes seemed a bit too saucy, but at least it was a very pleasant sauce and went well with the provided rice. No complaints, and will definitely try again on a future occasion. Service was polite and efficient. The restaurant itself looked clean and appealing.

Based on Trip Advisor's recommendation that the Pad Thai House in Boise, ID, is the best Asian restaurant in the state of Idaho, we had lunch there yesterday. I am a good home cook, making Asian dishes since I took my first Asian class from a professor at DeAnza college in 1976. I cook good, flavorful Chinese and Thai dishes at least 6-8 times a month. I ordered the garlic shrimp and my husband ordered a spicy chicken dish with a lot of bell peppers (I don't recall the Thai name of his dish). My dish had very little taste, the shrimp was over cooked, it did have a lot of mushrooms and onions, but the Napa cabbage was so limp, this dish had obviously been sitting in a steam table or under a heat lamp. It was not freshly prepared. The sauce had no flavor. My husband asked for mild heat and his dish was so spicy, he couldn't eat it. Our waitress offered him extra white rice but it still didn't cut the heat enough. With my dish, I chose fried rice that turned out to be a ball of white rice with tiny little bits of egg and peas. No soy sauce in it, nothing. It was not fried rice. I ordered a Thai Iced Tea and what was served was something that was pink in color and no tea flavor. We have never been so disappointed in following Trip Advisor's recommendation. The only positive in this experience was our very nice waitress. We will not be returning.

Most Thai food places are just glorified Chinese. This place has genuine Thai food, spices, and flavoring. They asked what level of hot I wanted and offered 1 to 4 with four being the hottest. I ordered Chicken Pad Thai Noodles with #2 spice. Holy Moley! It burnt my lips off and I could only handle five bites. Next time if you want mild, don't ask for more than #1, or perhaps ZERO. Good food though.

I don’t know if the restaurant changed management. But I just had a terrible experience. call the head and was told 25 minutes. I showed up to the restaurant about 10 minutes later and waited for over an hour, the restaurant was half full. No management did anything whatsoever. Customers came and left. I never did get my food. Was told five more minutes over five times. Ended up having to get a full refund because they never did have the food ready. Terrible service. Every single person saw we were annoyed in the restaurant. None of the employees tried to figure out what was going on. I literally could’ve chased a chicken, killed it and cooked it before they would’ve had my rice done.

We had a great meal here. We ordered a variety of dishes and everything was fresh and flavorful. The server was knowledgeable, friendly and efficient. I love that boxes provided for leftovers are recyclable (not styrofoam). Once refrigerated, the leftovers had none of that congealed orange oil that is so popular in restaurants. Lot of seafood (mussels, crab legs, etc.) options and duck. One of the few places in town that does seafood fried rice. Mango with sticky rice is fantastic when mango is in season. The sauce/dip that accompanies fresh (summer) rolls is more of the Vietnamese style (fish sauce) rather than Thai style (peanut). The chef is from Laos. Willing to modify dishes to suit vegetarians. It's one of our favorite restaurants in town.

We had dinner here last night and I ordered the red curry House Seafood Special. It included several kinds of seafood including mussels. The mussels were still attached to the shell, as is typical in a stew. But….. none of the mussels had been cleaned or debearded, which was a little disgusting. Moreover, there were multiple small, broken pieces of mussel shells all through my bowl. The shell pieces were small enough that you would not see them, but very hard when you bite down on one. I almost swallowed one sharp piece. After that, I didn’t trust the food. There were a lot of people in the restaurant. I understand the need to get a lot of food out quickly. But not cleaning muscles and believing shell fragments for customers to eat is irresponsible.

I love Thai food and this restaurant did not disappoint! Generous portions of perfectly prepared dishes. We had the pad Thai, sweet and sour pork and a red curry. Everything was well prepared and very good.

Second visit here. I will go weekly now I think. Was really missing Thai food, after watching my wife cooking in Bangkok from my phone. Ordered the Larb Moo (pork), and side of fried rice. Very good! Traditional recipe as I'd hoped. Thank you! 🙏

Had this for the family this past week. It is good solid Thai food. Just a bit of a drive across town. Interior is great but we got take out. Bagged nicely. Ordered my curry spicey. It was just medium. But good food fair price.

I went here with a friend for dinner and the food was amazing! The service was pretty good, although it did take over 30 minutes for them to get our food out. I have had a lot of Pad Woon Sen over the years and this was by far the best!

We frequent Pad Thai House, and while we try to mix it up and try new dishes, we ALWAYS order the green curry chicken to share. It is always heavenly!
