I ordered online and was all set to enjoy The Gut Buster Burrito. It was a calm Wed morning, both my wife and I were enjoying the day off. The Chefs Hut promises to have a great atmosphere with quality home cooked food. Yet today...I was saddened at the little black burnt pieces of charcoaled food. They were placed all throughout my burrito! Normally I would be full of praises and cheers! I do enjoy the Chefs Hut but after this I dont know if I can bring myself to eat there again...More
Friendly staff. Great food. It's in a business park and a little hard to find, but worth it. Daily specials.
Traveling through town and had business at the car dealer across the street. Saw the sign but not meal time. Went back the next day for lunch (while car being worked on). WOW! Would eat here often if I lived in the area. Worth searching...out....not easy to find. Had the country scramble and it was delicious. If I lived here I'd be back often to try other menu items. Bought two of their coffee mugs to remember them by.More
Thank you so much for seeking us out and supporting our local business, Donna! We hope to see you again on your next trip through here. Happy Holidays!
The place was packed when we arrived at 10:45, but we were seated within about 5 minutes. It was emptying by 11:30 with several empty tables. One of the waitresses said they were short staff, and we saw that with the long delay in getting...our drinks order, getting our drinks, and getting our food. There are also several mistakes made with our order and at other tables. The food made it all worthwhile though. The sausage mushroom and white cheddar omelette was very good with lots of filling and fresh ingredients. The hash browns were crisp on the outside, but a little greasy, and the English muffin was under-done and soaking in butter. My wife has the stuffed French toast but she said was excellent, but her egg was under-done. My daughter enjoyed her strawberry waffles and bacon.More
Thank you so much for braving the crown and the construction to supporting our local business! As with many businesses in the area, we have had a hard time keeping enough employees to meet the demand. Fortunately, we have a new person starting this weekend...More
What a find! I heard about this place from a friend and this morning I had a chace to give it a try. You have to go for yourself, great food, great service, large portions and the staff all seemed to get along great. I...got the impression they enjoyed their jobs. I will return next time I am in town.More
We were traveling back home from a Seattle trip and needed a place for breakfast along the way. This place is hidden away in kind of an office park but what a treat! Old fashioned friendly service, delicious food, and a great price. Such charming...little features. Definitely a must do for travelers or locals!More
Exactly what I was looking for. A great local find, off the main drag, mom-and-pop style café. Would not have known it existed had it not been for business in the area. Now that I know their location, I will happily go there again. Friendly,...prompt service, generous portions, priced appropriately. Very casual, 50s style atmosphere. Great place for small groups, families, or those dining alone.More
Breakfast at the Chef's Hut is has wonderful meal that was perfectly served by the waitress, She also filled me in on the local community. breakfast was always on time, hot (not warm) food and oh so good. All in all, a perfect place to...eat!!More
This is in a weird corner of an older office park on the south east corner of Cole and Franklin. Heard a lot of good reviews so tried it for breakfast one a weekday. Decor is dated/old style coffee shop and seating is limited. However,...the food was good and so was the service. Coconut french toast was very tasty, good corned beef hash, and one of the only places that will actually make crispy hashbrowns CRISPY. Bacon was good as well. Pleasantly non-hipster; old fashioned coffee shop/cafe. Will visit again.More
It's tucked away and you need to stumble on the location or go with a friend who has eaten there. It's very busy and while the food isn't gourmet, you will leave stuffed. Peak times have customers waiting in line outside the eatery. Don't eat...here if you count calories and jog every day. Especially if you don't like bacon grease.More
We had breakfast, which was average. Coffee is good. It is very hidden away, you would never know it was there. We just happened upon it.
Chefs hut still the only place for breakfast or lunch. Great food, good friendly service and and all around good place.
This restaurant is a great little hole in the wall. Not much on ambiance, but good food at good prices. I'm a huge fan of their blt sandwich.
Only opened breakfast and lunch, tucked away in a complex. Always good food, nice and good service, very casual atmosphere. We have been several times and never had a bad experience. Pretty traditional menu.
