The food, price, and outdoor patios are great BUT there is an employee that the last two times that we went to the Boise State St. restaurant refuses to wear his mask over his mouth and nose. We went in and he wanted to put...hand sanitizer on us, which is fine, but he just won't wear his mask over his mouth and nose. So why would I protect him and he won't protect me? Sorry, but in this day and age, if it's not taking the virus seriously I will go elsewhere.More

It's always a sign of good customer service when a restaurant is willing to make an old customer favorite that is no longer on the menu. The pizza, Favorite Sun, is an awesome veggie with artichoke hearts, sun-dried tomato and pine nuts on a pesto...sauce base. Yummm! Hubby had a Meat Lover's and enjoyed as well. Give them a try!More

Always a huge fan of Smoky Mtn. and often visit the State Street location in Boise since it's close to work. I tried out the Chimichurri Steak the other day and it was delicious! Tender and cooked to perfection and the Chimichurri sauce was amazing!...The pasta had a very good flavor and was a perfect compliment to the meal. The service was very good and they took great care of us!More

The menu selection was great. Service was average - a little slow (I think there was one waiter for the whole restaurant). We enjoyed our food except for the hair on one of the pizzas. 😬 The brie kisses appetizer was excellent. The salmon salad...($14.79) was tasty, but all the toppings were in huge pieces requiring a lot of cutting before eating. The smoky personal pizza ($7.75) was good (also with large-cut toppings). The kids' mac and cheese was so-so. Kids' meals ($5.99) are served with Teddy Graham's which are brought out with the bill. There is an arcade in the restaurant. There is indoor and outdoor seating.More

Two friends joined me for lunch. We were seated at a booth and almost immediately one friend tipped over her glass of water and within a few minutes, so did the second friend. Our waiter, Mike, handled it easily with efficiency and grace never making...us feel at all embarrassed. We moved to a table and were far more successful in not spilling. My friends had the lunch burger special and I had the pizza. The Caesar salad was very good and the pizza was also good. My friends raved about their burgers. The high point of our lunch was Mike! He was stellar.More

I heard about this restaurant Saturday morning at the street fair. I called and made reservations for 30 plus people as we were here for the soccer tournament. When we arrived they had reserved and set up the table and chairs in the outdoor courtyard...which was great. The problem was that it took 45 minutes to get our drinks and at least an hour later for our food. I understand we had a large group but I did call ahead. What was puzzling is why there was only one server waiting on our entire group of 36 with zero help? At one point one of the soccer players Dad started helping with drinks etc. I think the restaurant had help for the cooking from their other restaurants as we saw the trucks pull up with food. The food was good overall and with the exception of messing up my sons order (calzone instead of pizza) the server did a good job of keeping it all straight. And at least the atmosphere of the terrace made it not as frustrating to just hang out and wait.More

I ate here twice on a recent trip to Idaho, Montana and Wyoming. Both times, the service was prompt and the gluten-free pizza was very good. It is about four blocks from the Red Lion Downtowner and it is a safe walk.
