Stopped in here as we were walking around downtown Boise. Some wonderful tasting and looking baked goods can be had. There's a separate coffee shop next door which is connected to the bakery that serves Zeppole's baked goods. Business at bakery was slow, but diners purchasing baked goods next door was brisk. I noticed a run on Nutella croissants by... More

Get the shortbread, the raspberry bar, the scones... Skip the sandwiches. We got three different kinds and none were that great. The bread seemed good and the combinations seems like they could be ok, they just weren't fresh or delicious.

My husband and I both had salads at this restaurant. The portions were huge for the price. They also serve soups, sandwiches and, of course, baked goods. I was a bit disappointed in the brownie we shared. It looked better than it tasted.

I have been a fan and repeat customer since they opened in the early 90's. Great bread made with no perservatives daily, they also offer sandwiches and coffee. Unique local flavors and old world favorites make this a weekly stop for my family. A favorite is the Cheese Scallion loaf.

I really like this company. I have no complaints. Good coffee breads and other baked goods. Their loaf with olive oil rosemary and sea salt is my favorite.

My husband is a sourdough bread lover, and since moving to Boise he had been in search of good sourdough. After trying the offerings from a number of local bakeries and supermarkets, we found the sourdough at Zeppole's to be the best. The long loaf has the best tang, and they also have a sliced sandwich sourdough that is really... More

A few years ago, I would grab a sandwich here a couple times a month. They used to have wonderful sandwiches.... generous amounts of meat, cheese, and lettuce surrounded by a huge hunk of their outstanding village loaf. I picked up a sandwich here yesterday. Description: about 3" square by 3/4" flat (tall.) One slice of turkey, one slice of... More

Pumpkin bread -- all that needs to be said is buy some! Out of this world! Breads, outstanding! Can find them off 8th Street or at the Saturday market downtown.

From PB cookies to Irish soda bread and tone of good stuff in-between. Sandwiches, soups at lunch. Right next to Dawson Taylor Coffee, just walk through the wall.

Zeppole is a no frills, basic sandwich shop and bread bakery. Nothing fancy, but a trusty place to get a cup of soup and a loaf of bread. I would have given a 4 1/2 if it were possible, just because it has very limited sandwich menu. I visited both the Parkcenter and the downtown location several times in the... More
