When traveling through Boise we wanted to stop and try their burgers. I had seen this place on man vs food. I went with the Super Bacon Burger, sure was big. I can say it was a very good burger. The fries were also good. This place is worth you time. Service was good and prices about what you might... More

Adam Richman's TV show visited here and made a favorable impression on me. I had a bacon-bleu cheese burger with onion rings. Both were excellent but a few of the rings were the fried outer, semi-dried layer of the onion. Overall, a fine experience in a friendly atmosphere,

Yes, they will make any of their burgers without a bun at Big Juds. I had the bleu cheese burger on lettuce and the green leaf lettuce was just right to be able to pick up and eat the burger without a bun. I loved it. The bacon was crisp and crunchy and with all of the trimmings it was... More

I heard alot about this place so I decided to give it a try. My party had: Two veggie burgers (I think the Mushroom Burger but with a veggie patty), I had a Hot Buff burger, and some tots. The veggie burgers were pretty darn good with all the fixin's and my Hot Buff burger was decent as well. The... More

Asked some local colleagues for a good restaurant unique to Boise. They both recommended Big Judd's without hesitation. It was featured on Man v. Food with Adam Rich. Did not have the courage to attempt the Big Judd or Double Big Judd challenge, but split the 1 pound Big Judd with a coworker all the same. It was suprisingly good... More

Our visit to Big Judd's spanned one and one half hours. We stood for a while waiting for a table and sat for a long time waiting for our burgers. When the food began to arrive at our table the tater tots were not cooked right; they were hot but soggy, not crisp at all. The burger came and it... More

If you are a fan of competitive eating and need to do the man vs. food t.v. thing this may be for you. There are a lot of great (high quality, not frozen patty, well prepared) burgers in Boise if you're looking for good I'd suggest elsewhere. I know this is a Boise big deal for having a couple of... I remember when Big Juds started out in a smaller place on the other side of the parking lot. Now in a newer building, Big Juds is an awesome gem to Boise and those who are looking for a really good burger. Ambiance: A cool looking diner, that when busy, can feel a touch too crowded. Near Boise State University,... More

Really, what a great burger joint this was, the food was fresh off the grill and super tasty. Don't order more than one small basket of anything on the side per two people because it will go to waste, it was large! The service was good, a bit slow but the day we went the place was slammed with customers,... More

Took three generations of family here and everyone loved it. Got the HUGE one pound burger and split it. It was juicy and hot. Personable waitstaff. We had a blast!
