A little daunting as a first time visitor as really not sure what was going on and how dessert was made. Girls working behind counter werent exactly forthcoming with info either. Decent size portions though and pretty tasty!

Having been to several Sub-Zero locations in other states, I was looking forward to sharing this experience with visiting friends. With a dairy allergy, I always order non-dairy ice cream but for the first time, I was quite unhappy with the result. It's possible the young man making the ice cream was new a unfamiliar with the process, but what... More

This was our first time to a Sub-Zero Ice Cream shop. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They make the ice cream right in front of you and explain the whole process step by step. The prices are very reasonable. We will be back !

I had passed by this place many times but finally decided to check it out because my boys wanted ice cream. I went in earlier today around 9pm. I ordered two kid cones and a small cup of ice cream. My oldest son's cone was ready first. By the time I received my other two items and was paying, I... More

Many different flavors and toppings mixed with liquid cream of your choice. Then they stirred and applied liquid nitrogen to form the ice cream. There was a 4 year old that just loved the steam being formed. The ice cream was good with everything so evenly mixed. Expensive gimmick but have to try it once...

Sub-Zero has quite an interesting concept - you choose the cream you want, the applicable flavor(s) and any mix-ins (cheesecake, chocolate, peanut butter....you get the idea). Then you stand back and watch them use liquid nitrogen to turn your selections into ice cream. If you're not sure what to pick, the staff will offer suggestions. Price-wise it's probably a bit... Awsome. Never had ice cream like this. Very good, fresh, and different. I will come again. My kids loved it. Wonder if there are others.

Sub-Zero uses liquid nitrogen to instantly freeze individual servings of ice cream while you watch. I take out of town visitors and exchange students here and everyone loves it. The menu is extensive with many base ice cream flavors and many, many add-ins to create a personal treat. Vegan, lactose-free, and low fat ice cream bases are available. The servings... More

I think the method for freezing their ice cream could be hazardous to one's health. I've been there 3 times and left with a sore throat each time. Took my niece once and she did too. Weird

By far, the coolest ( no pun intended) way I've ever seen ice cream made.

They made the ice cream right after we ordered it. Instead of seeing batches of ice cream at the counter you see trays of ingredients. They mix them and then freeze them in front of you.
