I have been eating here since they opened but tonight they lost my business. A steak burrito was ordered over the phone but when we got it home it was chicken. I called to have them remake the order and the woman over the phone...told me " I will let him know"... I asked if it was going to be remade and she said yes. My husband went to pick up the corrected burrito providing the chicken one. He put it on the counter and the same unfriendly woman barely acknowledged why he was there. She tried to argue that whoever placed the order requested chicken... this is not true and she was not even the person that took the order.
Long story short they messed up and wanted to have an argument about replacing the item. This is not the first time they have messed up but we let it go because it is convenient to us and the food ia decent.
Never again, she decided she wanted to lose a customer with her nasty attitude.
Such a shame, we ordered here at least once or twice per month.More
After reading several reviews on how good this restaurant is, I tried it last week. The beef in my taco had no taste. I had to use allot of salsa to give it some flavor. The rest of the meal was average at best. While this...is a small local restaurant, they need to add more flavor to their food. There are better Mexican restaurants in the area.More
Please do yourself a favor and come to try this most authentic Mexican food, it is a very tiny place with an ample menu. Don't be afraid to try few unknown dishes. I can suggest a few that I think you would like besides the...tacos: HUARACHE (long shaped tortilla at the bottom and topped with refried beans, fresh cheese, lettuce and your choice of pork, chicken, chorizo or stead) SOPE(same as above but rounded/smaller shape) - then go to the salsa bar and put on top the Habanero salsa usually made by Jaime (all the salsas are good and fresh)
Don't let the fact that this restaurant is located next to a gas station. You will enjoy most of the traditional and tex mex dishes, they have options for all the ages.
Try AGUA DE HORCHATA (rice milk, sugar, cinnamon mixed with water) it is deliciosa and refreshing.
They also have catering service, we have contracted twice with them and the service is punctual and professional.More
You can't beat the prices here in this little place that if you blink, you will miss it. Very friendly service, good food. I've had better but for the convenience and the prices, I hope this place sticks around for a long time! Would definitely...return to try more of their many selections.More
