is my absolute favorite, especially if it's a beautiful fall day and I can eat out on the porch. We usually get a beer and enjoy people watching and the weather. This is also a great place to catch the July 4th parade. We realized this as we were watching it from across the street. We might just watch the... More

The setting was an original train station , it added to the old town feeling, in a good way. We live in the area and appreciate the good and original food and fine service.

Terrific location and the old depot feel had us all very hopeful. My husband and I were checking out Woodstock with 2 of our daughters and popped in here around 3:00 on a very hot day to have a cold drink. It was just us and 1 other table and a few folks sitting at the bar. We ordered our... More

Passed on the brunch buffet and ordered off the menu. Steak and Eggs ordered medium well, was well done and dry. Side bowl of gravy had a hair in it. Pulled pork sandwich was as good as the prepared pulled pork at the grocery store. The waffle was tasty, but the fall spices are a bit strange for summer. Last... More

This hit the spot after a long day. The food was really very good. I had the Zucchini Primavera (loved the light wine/butter sauce).... it was delicious. I tried my husbands burger and that was also tasty. Also, our waitress was vey good. She was friendly, knew when to check in on us and when to give us space. I'd... More

We stopped for lunch at the Freight Kitchen trying a salad and sandwich. I had the BLT topped itch pimento cheese and fried green tomatoes (delicious). My wife had the beet salad with blood orange, goat cheese and lemon vinaigrette. Everything was freshly prepared and well enjoyed.

Cool atmosphere. Good beer selection. Shared plate fee. Burgers start at $11. Good beer selection lots of local stuff. Share a plate and pay $3 which is lame in my opinion. Otherwise cool place worth the stop.

What a fun place to go in downtown Woodstock! Great beer selection. The night we went, they were serving a Maine truck, so the lobster was a bit more expensive that we would normally spend. Fun atmosphere - try to sit on the deck.
