The ambience is the best part of the restaurant. I was there for Thanksgiving and the food was awful except for the soup. Forget about fresh carved turkey but instead you get turkey loaf and high prices. Tried it again recently and it was average but the ambience is enjoyable.

Magnolia Thomas is unexpected...and really so good. Its just off of the main street and new growth near the Depot in downtown Woodstock, so some folks miss it. And that's a shame. Its well worth the 2-minute drive past some of those other places. The food is so very good - everything is tasty and beautifully presented. The main courses... More

Had a terrific brunch with another couple. Hot table was extensive and well prepared while the eggs Benedict made-to-order were excellent.

This is a great restaurant with amazing food, fantastic service, a great atmosphere, and wonderful unique deserts. I've eaten here several times and its always been great. The food would be considered upscale southern cooking. The atmosphere is just the right amount of fine dining without being too stuffy or pretentious. The staff is great and the service is always... Nice cozy environment. The place is a house, built in 1912. The ground floor has been used as a restaurant for a little more than dozen years... Food was good. Filet, asked for well done, was made to perfection. Rare was little overcooked. Stuffed flounder was tasty as well. Staff is VERY HELPFUL! Thanks to everyone! Awesome job, you guys!... More

We stopped at this restaurant while in Woodstock, GA . We had no reservation, but we had no problem being seated. Our waitress was very knowledgeable about every dish offered. We ordered the nut crusted pork medallions with a mushroom sauce and whipped potatoes and asparagus. The presentation was beautiful and tasted fabulous. We topped it off with a mango... More

This was my 4th visit over the last couple of years. It's a quaint atmosphere in what looks to be an early 1900s house. The crowd was modest, but I made a reservation online the same day and was seated promptly. The Baked Brie appetizer was excellent...the cranberry salsa was a nice touch. We had the Scottish Salmon and also... More

After being seated on the cold patio we waited 45 minutes for bread. Our friend had to find the waitress Jennifer and asked her to take our order. There was never an apology or an explanation. When we finally got our entrees I had to flag someone else for salt and pepper. The food was okay but the service and... More

One of our favorite after church. Great selection of dishes plus you can even order waffles, omelets or Eggs Benedict separately if you're really hungry. Everything is fresh and tasty.

Got a Groupon to give it a try and was glad it was discounted. I would have been upset to spend that kind of money on marginal fare. If you don't have a coupon or Groupon, skip it.
