This quaint eatery is a favorite with locals. The bartender/server knows the regulars by name. The food was hot and very good. It isn't fancy, it is relaxed and cozy.

This is the second time we have been to this restaurant. The food both times was really good. Last week we were there on a Thursday, the specials were fried chicken and baked ham, I got the baked ham, broccoli casserole and Cole slaw. All of it was great. I even had some left over. It also came with Texas... More

Great throw back bar, terribly smoky, but wonderful specials every day. Like a meat and three! Bartender is super. Dark, cool, quiet, comfortable place. Escape the mid day heat and duck in for a cold beer and fried fish or meat loaf or even a super grilled cheese.

First off, it loses a star: smoking is allowed. Fortunately, it wasn't crowded when we were there, and it's well ventilated. We were there on Thursday, before 1 PM. Apparently that's when the cook is off. No menu items are available, but the specials are. Try the specials. You won't regret it. I had the ham, my wife had the... More

This comfy place was a great place to get out of the sun, enjoy a icy cold beer, and have some lunch. The bartender/waitress with attitude served us well. We had the flounder sandwich and the crab cake sandwich. Both were excellent, and their homemade tartar sauce was very tasty. The prices were very reasonable.

Good food. Good prices. Smoking is allowed, children are not. If that bothers you, don't eat there. We would go back.

Step back to 1965 and enjoy the moment, a cool drink and a really good burger. I am a local (Bluffton, SC) and took a daytrip to Tybee Island. First stop was for lunch with the goal of dining at a "non tourist" joint. I found it in the Wind Rose Café. They also have daily specials, but, I was... More

I went to go pick up an order that I placed and when I got there the bartender (which was an older lady) asked how I was I said fine and that I was there to pick up a to go order and she rudely commented back "well I'm doing fine thanks for asking" This has not been the only... More
