We took a laid back trip to Tybee today, first stop Gerald's. Went with the intention of shrimp but decided it was a Cuban type of day, beer was cold and the Cuban was equally as good. As we all know Gerald knows pork, add...ham, cheese, house pickles, mustard and sandwich press and you have a total winner.
We also added fish and chips to our shared lunch, you can never go wrong with seafood at Gerald's.
The wife is already talking about our next trip for Cuban and beer.
As we all know the restaurant industry is suffering in the help department but Gerald and his staff are doing a good job of providing good service.More
Saw Gerald’s reviews on Trip Advisor and knew we had to stop for a late lunch. So glad we did. The fried shrimp dinner was superb a d the pulled pork sandwich was excellent. The staff were extremely polite and friendly to us and all...the other customersMore
The fried shrimp was very good and a very nice portion. Cole slaw was good also. This place has a very relaxing atmosphere with open air dining. The staff was friendly and the service was good. Only complaint I have was having to share the...only salt and pepper shakers in the place. Other than that, it was a very good experience and I would recommend. I would eat here again.More

Thank you for the kind words. The reason for sharing the salt and pepper is we have to sanitize between each use.. thank you Gerald
We are from the area and wanted to have a day outing. Went their for lunch. We both had the fried shrimp. Was delicious. Also had the green beans they tasted like fresh green beans not canned. Will definitely go back.
Gerald catered a farewell low country boil for my family following our wedding over the weekend. He was very helpful with ensuring we knew how to rent/who to contact for the pavilion we hosted the event at in Memorial Park. He showed up early to...get setup and get everything rolling to ensure we were able to eat right at 12:30 when everyone started showing up. Everything was cooked fresh onsite and was delicious! He communicated very effectively leading up to the event and throughout the day of. I would highly recommend working with Gerald and using him for your events. His restaurant location is great as well, so if you dont need catering definitely stop be there for some cold beverages, great service, and amazing food!More
