Nice bbq option, but not much heat in the sauce or rub (not really sure if there was a rub on the sliced pork.)

Pleasant staff but the chopped sandwiches were a bit dry and the smoke taste did not come through. Sides were good. Would not return.

For starters the ribs came with the wrong side orders. The babyback ribs were terrible. So tough and chewy. Sent them back and the waitress said there was a pitmaster in training and did not know what he was doing. The 2nd order she brought was just as tough to chew as the first one. Brought them home for the... More

I love BBQ and have tried many, many, many BBQ restaurants in Georgia. This is my favorite BBQ pork. Smokey, flavorful, moist pork.

You'll feel like your eating in a old fashioned log cabin. The eating experience here is determined by what meal you're in for. Breakfast is good with specialties like biscuit and gravy, full breakfast plates with you name it. All the breakfast items you can think of. Price is good. Lunch and dinner are somewhat pricy for what you get.... More

Old Hickory House is an old school family-owned restaurant, and this is the LAST of about 10 that were here, all closed over time due to the (sad) fact that the real estate was more valuable as something else. The last one, in Tucker GA, is about 25 miles from our house and we don't get over there often enough,... More

Great BBQ and atmosphere. Friendly staff and quick service. Very reasonably priced and a great selection of food choices. Been here numerous times and have never been disappointed. We even had our rehearsal dinner here 6 years ago and still have the same staff very low turn over which is good because they get to know you.

I sat myself upon arrival. My server was Robin - very pleasant personality. I ordered a unsweet tea. They had daily specials on the chalkboard. They were very busy it was lunchtime. I ordered the vegetables - the broccoli casserole, the squash casserole and the yams. I also came with two corn muffins. The server failed to check back. The... More
