Went on Sunday evening with our daughter. She had boom boom shrimp tacos. My wife & I shared a grilled grouper dinner. Everyone’s dinner was excellent. Service was impeccable. Highly recommend this place.

Always a great time at Clays. Great customer service warm and inviting. Food spot on. Live music and locals.
Service was very good. Food was also good. Nice to have the owner meet us at the door. Not very crowded and food came out very quickly, exactly as ordered. Great ambiance and off the beaten path. Go!
This restaurant has been open since 1990. As I understand, Clay has been owner for the last six years. I live less than 15 minutes away and have NEVER stopped in! That is until last Saturday. Didn't know what I was missing. Rustic interior, GREAT,...FRIENDLY staff, food was prepared SUPER fast, and great prices. Will definitely be back!More
While my wife and I were traveling down I-95 on our way to Amelia Island we decided to find a place to eat dinner, so we used a competitive app (rhymes with help) to locate something that wasn't fast food as we avoid it whenever...possible. Clay's Sapelo Station came up, it was close by and had good reviews so we stopped and had dinner. Upon walking in the door we were happily welcomed by the owner and staff. They have a menu that will suit just about everyone great seafood, steaks and a children's menu. I ordered the fried shrimp and my wife had the fried oysters. The oysters were good but the fried shrimp were excellent. Lightly breaded, seasoned and not overcooked. The service was fast and friendly. Stop here and you won't be disappointed. Take exit 58 off I-95, turn east on Ga Hwy, turn left at the 4 way stop and Clay's is up on the right.More
What a great discovery! If you ever are driving down I-95 between Savannah in Jacksonville, you should definitely stop in to this great local place. Wife and i discovered it by accident as we were traveling South. This place is all character! And on top...of that the food was excellent!! Wife had the low country boil w/snow crab and I had pecan-encrusted fish with possibly the best coleslaw I've ever had. If you get a chance to meet Clay, let him give you some history of the building and the surrounding area. This was a wonderful experience! PS - this is a very local place. We might have some of the first tourists in awhile. The staff couldn't have been friendlier!More
A friendly, cute little restaurant where the food is always good. We enjoyed a late Sunday lunch with delicious pecan crusted fish, twice baked potato that was cheesy and some of the best slaw we've had. The owner is very personable and wait staff friendly...and efficient.More
Sapelo Station serves good food and is a friendly place to go. Not at all fancy, they manage to have a balanced menu of seafood options, grilled, fried, broiled, with interesting side dishes. They have a reasonable selection of bottled beers and mid priced wines...as well as well stocked bar, which considering the location is impressive. We always stop at Clay’s when we are I. The area.More
Upscale food with a down-home atmosphere. Cozy and welcoming. Menu had lots of options, plus specials. Extremely friendly owner and staff!
We go to Clay's often! Friendly staff, good food, cold beer, great drinks! My wife and I love to stop by to drink and eat with friends and neighbors from nearby!
