I like their slogan: "Where the locals eat and the travelers always come back to! Located at Exit 63-B off I-75 in Tifton. Plentiful of seating and take-out food also. The Brunswick stew is a little different than I'm use to but was tasty. Good service.

Went on a Sunday afternoon because we'd heard good things about this place but it didn't work for us! They played classical music on the sound system, served inferior barbecue (chicken under dome) and the service didn't make you feel right at home either! Add to that, it was not very clean! Haven't been back and don't plan to! Try... More

We used to eat here basically because of a lack of options. The food was usually just ehh. But in recent times it has gotten pretty bad. They used to have wonderful salads but even those are terrible now. Really don't understand why they have the business they do.

The Pit Stop was recommended during a stop at Adcock Pecan in Tifton. The chicken and beef we ordered was cooked perfectly and the sides were wonderful as well. Our server was attentive and was honest about the portion sizes (huge). If you travel the I75 this is a must stop.

Me and my wife was heading home from vacation and we seen the good ratings on this BBQ place. First of all the service was very good and real nice people. Good location being just off the interstate. I had the pork and rib plate. It was not to my liking. The pork tasted like when you cook a Boston... More

Seen a billboard for The Pit Stop while traveling. Since it was lunchtime we figured we give it a try. Nice nice restaurant for BBQ. I got the pulled pork sandwich which came on garlic bread...yummy! Also ordered the baked beans. The serving was a generous size and the taste oh yes so good. They had 2 different sauces on... More

Traveling with kids and grand kids we had 6 of us for Sunday lunch. As this is right off the interstate and being just after church I expected a wait for 6 people. Even though crowded the staff got us in quickly. We enjoyed pork plates, chicken plates, pulled pork sandwiches and stuffed baked potatoes. All were very good and... More
