I had a delicious Ribeyed Steak with fries and asparagus. My husband had Shrimp and Grits and we both loved our meals. The restaurant has a warm and friendly atmosphere and the setting of an old railway station is charming. We sat outside and really...enjoyed a wonderful dinner with good friends.More

SASS Lived up to its reputation! SASS was one of the 2 restaurants we wanted to go to on our 2 night stop in Thomasville, Georgia. (The other being Jonah’s. We also had a great tour of Pebble Hill Plantation) SASS has Very good food....We loved the shrimp and grits! Affordable wine list and very good service in a casual atmosphere. So glad we dined there, it definitely lived up to our expectation.More

We drove about an hour to get here. I had been to SASS and wanted to impress my friend with something she had never tried. The experience was wonderful. The staff were gracious, accomodating, and perfect. The food was stellar. (of course) The atmosphere was...refreshing. Every.thing.was.fab!More

Loved the space, especially the outside dining area. Service was friendly but a little shaky. Skip the hot Pimento Cheese (Bug Beau’s Dip), not much flavor. I do recommend several of the side dishes, including green beans, collards, and the potato casserole. Lots of potential...here.More

We ordered a salad with shrimp and the gumbo. Bother were very good. Located in a renovated train station the restaurant has some character along with good food. Staff was courteous and efficient. We will return on our treks near Tallahassee.

Our son and his wife had a "destination wedding" in Thomasville this past weekend. We brought a large party (24) for dinner on Saturday evening. The service was very attentive and handled our large party with what seemed like ease. The food was amazing as...always. People ordered a variety of food and everyone was raving about their meals. We split a few desserts and the Bananas Foster pound cake was simply amazing! I have had the Mountain Dew Peach Cobbler several times in the past (which is always phenomenal). SASS also catered the appetizers for our happy hour after the wedding. The BBQ pork is simply the best and the sausage balls were just like my Nana used to make! Several of our friends went for Sunday brunch and were pleased, as well. Make sure you visit SASS when you are in Thomasville!More

We had not been to SASS for awhile and never for breakfast until yesterday - great decision. We went to early church - made a reservation and beat some of the crowd although the reservation allowed us to be seated immediately. Not always the case...in such a popular restaurant! Wife did have a breakfast item from the brunch menu but they also serve their “regular” lunch menu so I had a favorite of the shrimp étouffée - outstanding as always - big great tasting shrimp and lots of them. Over white fried rice in a super creole sauce. Choice of dirty rice also. She had a breakfast meal in an old iron skillet - eggs, potatoes etc and really enjoyed it. We off with our favorite of fried oysters and they remain the best we have anywhere! Fresh very tasty salad and I had a side of their very good collards. Love their sweet tea. Very attentive courteous server. Masks worn by all staff. Only one minor complaint or suggestion. Men’s restroom could use a good overall cleaning. But otherwise we really really like SASS and highly recommend it!,More

My first visit to Sass and WOW!!! It was sooooo good. I have been wanting to eat some Jambalaya since moving to Georgia from Louisiana 20 years ago. Sass took me back to REAL Jambalaya and it was scrumptious, spicy, filling, YES MA'AM!!! I am...going back tomorrow!!! We ordered two orders of Beach Bread...gone in 10 seconds. My son had a po boy with pig tails. Bread Pudding with caramel and walnuts ended the meal. Ohhhh soooo goood! This food had me dancing in my seat. Sass is worth the drive!!! Soooooo Good!!More

I drove in to eat as Sass from another state at the recommendation of some people that I know, and I was definitely NOT dissapointed. We ordered: Chicken & Sausage Jambalaya, Shrimp & Grits, Mrs. Opal's Mountain Dew Peach Cobbler, and Eleanor's Pound Cake: A...La Bananas Foster. All of it was delicious. Just your good old sinfully good southern food. I highly recommend making the drive to come out here, especially if you love Cajun food.More

It depends on the time you go in there. If you go during peaks hours (during lunch time or during dinner time on Friday and Saturday nights), it may be noisy. Its not a dining that has private, quiet little corners. It's a... More
