food was excellent. Shaky beef was the best. We all wished we had ordered it. there were 4 of us and the four dishes were brought out a different times. One was incorrect but was corrected. We had a difficult time getting our waiter's attention but they were very polite

PROS: clean men's' restroom, clean restaurant. FOOD: I ordered Bourbon chicken over rice. I’ve had better in the food court. SERVICE: If you dine in, you better not leave your tray and dirty plates on the table, even if you leave a substantial tip, like I did. The look of distain on the owner’s face when we got up to leave without putting our trash in the trash can was enough to make me feel unwelcomed. You must buss your own table and clean up behind yourself. They do not bring the food to your table. They do not bus the table after you’re finished eating. Which is fine, but they should not ask for tips. Based on their fancy name, I expected a little more customer service than they are set up to provide.

Something Delightfully New (to me)

It is hard to find places that cater to vegans (my daughter who was with me) and as we searched through my phone for vegan restaurants, this one came up. We have never had Vietnamese food before but figured we would give it a try. Our waiter was quite pleasant and helpful. My daughter ordered the Pho Basil with tofu. It was a large serving and she couldn't finish it all. It had an interesting taste but she like it and so did I. I ordered the Fried Veggie Spring Roll and Crab Rangoons (both delicious). Our waiter was attentive to refills and even prepared one to go for me (this type of food makes me very thirsty). I would be happy to return again if we were back in this area. Take your time looking over the menu as there is a lot to choose from.

Love the Pho, wonderful Mongolian beef, really tasty honey chicken too. Had two different types of Pho and both were fresh, refreshing and economical. On Sundays you get the second pho 1/2 off, too. A real bargain!!

The two of us ate lunch at the Green Basil Vietnamese & Seafood restaurant. The server confused us with his comments, although he seemed nice. We both ordered the luncheon special, for us Chicken Pad Thai. The first portion was served, and about five minutes lateral the second portion came. The flavors were bland for our taste and required our adding quite a bit of seasoning. The portions were large. The atmosphere was fairly dark, more like a bar. We won't hurry back.

Another pleasant surprise!

Received a menu in the mail for this restaurant awhile back, finally decided to give them a try. Hidden in a strip shopping center, below road height, didn't expect too much. Dropped in on a Wednesday evening, cheerful greeting from hostess, quiet crowd dining, tastefully decorated. Chatty young server took drink orders, brought them, checked several times as we were slow deciding. When dinners quickly arrived (a little odd that delivery of our plates were not simultaneous, separated by about two minutes) the presentation was beautiful. Wife's Shaky Beef arrived in a perfect nest of broccoli florets, with dome of steamed rice standing beside. Beef was tender, sauce delicious. I chose the Massamun Curry with beef, came with a side of steamed rice and a small green salad with a tasty ginger dressing. Beef, potatoes, onion, and avocado in a mild curry sauce, simply incredible. Server was very attentive, checking often and keeping tea and water glasses full. Happy to find this little jewel so close to home, plan to make it a regular stop.

I have only been here for lunch. It is cozy and friendly. The medium bowl of Pho will provide you lunch and a meal for later. Very fresh ingredients.

Just Happened To See This Restaurant When We Took A Detour!

Combination of Vietnamese & Seafood...their food is generally more healthy than other Asian Restaurants. Went for a lunch take out and tried two chicken dishes with brown rice, a salad and a egg roll. A lot of food for a lunch special. What I like is that it is not greasy or full of seasonings that make me drink an abundance of water. Very nice and we will go back!

Good food, will be back!

My husband and I stopped by for the fist time late this afternoon. It's a rainy and cold Sunday and there were a surprising number of people in the restaurant at 3:00. We ordered Spring rolls and pho ga (chicken noodle soup). The serving was large and tasty and I somehow managed to finish most of it. We ordered basil chicken and rice to go and will split that for dinner tomorrow night. It smells delicious. Very nice restaurant and the staff was friendly and attentive. It's near our home and we will be back for sure. Glad to have discovered this gem!

Asian for Everyone

This little gem of a restaurant is consistently great. I like Thai, my son likes Vietnamese Pho, and my husband likes Chinese. At Green Basil you can experience all of these cuisines. The Thai Panang Curry is my favorite. This dish comes with a large Ginger Salad and enough Curry for two meals. I also like the Thai Basil and the Shrimp rolls. After dinner, a small slice of Tiramisu cake is served. It is the perfect ending to a perfect meal. The big surprise...it's very affordable at around $10.00 a meal. Go try it, you'll be pleasantly surprised. Also, the service is great and the servers are very friendly!

Yummy foods!

Came here prior to a movie based off of previous reviews. Having little experience with Vietnamese food, pleasantly surprised by the variety of choices. They have a large selection of pho, Thai curries, and some Chinese choices too. My friend and I got the Fried Pork Spring Rolls, Pho Ga, and Shaky Beef and split them all. Everything was amazing, but the Shaky Beef was better than any Asian beef dish my friend have ever had. The decor is super cute and the staff are attentive and very nice. I will be back to try a few more items soon!
