I don't know how we found this place, but we are so glad we did! We lived in Japan for 3.5 years. Ramen and ramen shops abound! And it's not that dried up stuff in little cubes you buy at the grocery store! We have gone and observed actual Japanese people eating Ramen as if they were at home. We... More

My wife and I ventured into the world of Ramen. The explanation of different variations of spicy & hot were not adequate for what we were served. Both dishes went unfinished. The hot tea I order was only luke warm. I managed to get through my fried chicken, or I would have left hungry. Perhaps this food culture is not... More

Love this place! Only Ramen place that makes their own noodles on site. Great flavor broth, tasty pork, and the best pork belly ever. Love the kitchen staff, too. And the waitstaff is adorable.

Food was great but service was ok I didn't like waiters and people who was preparing food talking so much on top of people's food... They were talking so much I was sitting at a bar and glass front of us was disgusting Need to clean more

A light tonkotsu - nice with takowasa (octopus wasabi). Always a good meal but save the soup and get a kaidama (another ball of noodles). The ramen itself goes great with a tray of gyoza.

I've visited Japan many times, and am a huge fan of Ramen. The biggest complaint I've had is I haven't had anything I felt was that good or came close to what I had overseas back in the US. I've tried to find good Ramen from recommendations we've gotten in Florida, Los Angeles, New York and more and hadn't found... More

This ramen shop is located near the H Mart off of Lawrenceville-Suwanee Road. I have been looking for a ramen shop near me for a while. I would see friends post in the Bay Area and Seattle. I was a little jelly. My sister-in-law caught this restaurant in passing. I never knew. We stopped in. It was small, unique and... More

I ordered the Very Spicy Ramen. The waitress asked on a scale of 1 to 50, how hot did I want it. I like hot, but I can spot a trap when I see it, so I hedged and said "gimme 25". She said "you can't handle 25, I can barely handle a 3" so I said "gimme a 3,... More

Our first time experiencing a true Ramen restaurant and we were fortunate to be joined by a Korean couple who helped guide us through our first dining experience. The restaurant is small and you can expect there will be a bit of a wait, especially if you are there during busy times. Food is well worth a 30 minute wait... More

This place was my introduction to Japanese Ramen Houses. My first impression was average. But the more I keep coming, the more I developed a palate for it. What sealed the deal for me was after trying a different Ramen House. I knew then that Umaido knows what it's doing. The only noodle soup I was used to was Vietnamese... More
