Great place to get a nice walk run or bike. It's approximately 5 miles around the mountain or you can get a good work out walking up the mountain(be ready for the work out) After the walk you can watch the laser show...Great way to end your evening

This was the highlight of our visit. We had no idea what to expect. I highly recommend the trip up. You could sit and enjoy the view and take pictures for hours! I don't recommend walking up or down the mountain as it is a little dangerous.

We climbed this mountain with a 3 and 6 year old....and made it to the top! We did ride the sky lift down though. Definitely something to experience if you're physically able to and if not, you can always take the sky lift up. It's beautiful from up top and a must see!

Much expectation - much more disappointment. First off-their website needs some revising to better inform visitors of times the amusement park is open. We paid a lot of money only to get there and discover it closed at 8:00 pm. So if you are going for the amusement park opportunities-be sure you get there when it opens (by the way,... More

We are definite fans of Stone Mountain Park. The first year we moved to the Atlanta area, the Husband suggested we purchase a Family Membership, which gave us access to the entire park. We lived fairly close and could visit any time of the day, throughout the entire year. We hiked all over the park, on the mountain, next to... More

Awsome view from the top and the trail is not long but very though under a heating sun, so bring water and take a break midway if you are not super fit, please be aware that nothing is open on top after 5pm. This was a really nice thing to do.

We stopped at Stone Mountain Park, to have a bite to eat. And to see the laser show that evening(worth seeing). The park offers family fun for all ages. There's amusement attractions and rides. An old locomotive runs through the park. Ride the cable car to the top of Stone Mountain the the view is SPECTACULAR. Camping is available inside... More
