Stopped by for lunch. Had the sweet potato hummus as a starter with the black bean burger and sweet potato salad. Food is delicious with reasonably priced. Nice to have a restaurant on this caliber in Stone Mountain Village. Thanks.

Stopped here for dinner, just for something different than chain food. We were very surprised as it had a very good mix of menu items, so we were able to eat different food than we normally eat when we travel. Food was good, service was okay, and the price was very good. We will try them again when we are... More

We were at Stone Mountain and looked for a nearby restaurant. Found the Sweet Potato Cafe. We got lucky. Great people. Brunch buffet. The best lemon pepper chicken. My family loved the sweet potato biscuits and waffles. Could not have found a better meal. Would definitely go back.

My wife had meatloaf with garlic mashed potatoes. I had the salmon with sweet potato soufle. Both were very good, and we had a very friendly waitress who gave us good service. We will definately be returning there.

The atmosphere was whimsical and eclectic. But the food was the shinning star. Everything was fresh and loaded with flavor. I wish we had been able to stay in town to enjoy a second meal.

Love this little gem in Downtown Stone Mountain. Hard to find cur, affordable places like this with really good food. It's on a side street off Main Street in an old house with outside seating. Inside is very cozy with a sofa on one side and shabby chic decor. Noting on menu more than $18 with average of $12. Try... More

This is a local, family run business and the wife is the chef. This quaint little spot offers food made with love. The atmosphere and decorations are adorable and well put together. Menu items are healthy and delicious.

On Friday, a friend and I decided to patronize Sweet Potato Cafe a quaint, black owned business with supposedly good food. When we entered the place was empty and I understand why. First of all, the staff never greets you nor fully explains their specials. We decided to dine in and ordered--as we have before--their fried green tomatoes as an... More

Fresh, friendly and reasonable. Cute atmosphere and the food was delicious. Nice selection on menu. The price was very reasonable for a first class meal. Can't wait to try something new. Easy parking. Just wish they offered wine.
