We drove for two hours to dine at the Blu Willow Inn and it was well worth the trip. We enjoyed fried chicken, collard greens, green beans , massed tators , mac and cheese and of course FRIED GREEN TOMATOES. We had Arnold Palmer and coffee to drink. We enjoyed great service and great atmosphere. We will return.. thanks

I had read the history and I was curious. I actually met some friends who drove from Aiken, SC so I was nervous that my recommendation would turn out to be ok. Well, the food is really good. We actually had a conversation over the table about having been disappointed in the Paula Deen buffet in Savannah (separately) and how... More

The Blue Willow is perhaps the best known landmark in Social Circle GA. The authentic "Southern Cooking", lavish buffet and nectar like sweet iced tea are all attractions for both "locals" and many tourists (including regular tourist bus visitors). Come hungry, because you won't gt to even sample the amazing variety of meats, sides and breads unless you are truly... More

Located off I-20 in the tiny town of Social Circle, this dining spot epitomizes Southern living and food before fried became politically uncorrected. An a old colonial mansion in the center of town, it bespeaks Southern experience. The buffet is located in the original dining room and offers an adequate salad bar, fried and souffled vegetables, scrumptious fried and baked... More

I was excited about going to Blue Willow. Over the years I've heard good things but the environment was excellent the food was good as advertised. I could have gone to Golden Coral. I hope it was just a bad day but I will not return.

We enjoyed the food, the house and the grounds. Simple southern menu in a buffet style dining experience. Best fried green tomatoes I've ever had.

I was given a Blue Willow cookbook as a gift several years ago and the recipes are delicious, especially the vegetables. We stayed in near-by Madison and made the 20 mile drive to Social Circle. We were there on a Friday evening so the emphasis was on seafood and and the specialty was crab legs served at the tables, not... More

We discovered this restaurant while on the internet looking for an interesting place for lunch. It is located in one of Georgia's old southern type of homes and was well worth the stop. It is a buffet with a lot of different choices including their great desserts. The employees were very nice and made us feel like we were visiting... More

My wife and I had lunch there today and expected great home cooked food. The grounds are very nice and a nice atmosphere in the restaurant but the food was below average. Sure doesn't match up to my wife's home cooking. I have had much better food at some great hole in the wall restaurants.

Thank Roy J
