We discovered this restaurant while on the internet looking for an interesting place for lunch. It is located in one of Georgia's old southern type of homes and was well worth the stop. It is a buffet with a lot of different choices including their great desserts. The employees were very nice and made us feel like we were visiting... More

My wife and I had lunch there today and expected great home cooked food. The grounds are very nice and a nice atmosphere in the restaurant but the food was below average. Sure doesn't match up to my wife's home cooking. I have had much better food at some great hole in the wall restaurants.

The Blue Willow in is not quite legendary but it does have a fairly well know reputation in the Atlanta area. We decided to have lunch here while visiting Madison and Social Circle. There was a Saturday buffet available. The buffett was $20.95 per person. Not being big buffett folks we had second thoughts. The hostess reduced the price for... More

I had a taste for catfish . We stopped at Hendersons in Covington, but they were closed for vacation. We decided to travel a little further to Blue Willow. They have a great selection of seafood and vegetables. We loved the huge boiled shrimp in the salad bar. The shrimp needed more ice . The ice had melted and wasn't... More

Introduced my daughter and granddaughter to the BWI today and it was a hit. I've always loved to come here but always eat too much. My daughter and I talked about my mom and how many of the items reminded of meals she would fix. I love the chicken and dumpling soup and their fried chicken. Always a good selection... More

We visited the Blue Willow Inn on a hot July afternoon. It is located in a charming old house built in 1917. The reception was warm and friendly and we were shown to our table immediately. All the food is served buffet style and represented the very best southern cooking we have ever had. There was fried chicken, fried pork... More

Made an hour and a half drive to finally try the Blue Willow for my birthday. We made reservations but there was no need, no crowd on the Sunday we went, around 2:00pm. The house is beautiful, service was attentive and friendly and the food was soooooo good. Everything we expected and more.

Reservations recommended. A beautiful southern home and restaurant with bountiful buffets. Although there is a rather hefty charge per person, you'll get your monies worth!! Always great food and service. Have been here several times, at least one business party luncheon. They always have special occasion dinners too. They have a gift shop and it's a worthwhile time to browse... More

We were traveling across Georgia looking for someplace new and out of the ordinary and out of the Atlanta craziness to eat. Found this place on Google. It was definitely worth the few miles out of the way. The food is good. It's just plain ole southern cooking, nothing special, but everything was good. It's worth stopping just for the... More

After hearing about this restaurant (as a must try it), we finally did. Almost no wait time. The service and servers are very friendly. The food on the buffet had a lil bit of everything as far as country style flavor. Soups, salads, a variety of meats and vegetables. It's just not a place that I'd be coming back to.... More
