I can get my N.C. Vinegar based pulled pork & my husband can get the thick sweet mildly spicy red bbq sauce on a rack of smoked ribs. It is good & we both have our favorites. I never cared for the mustard based S.C. Sauce but they have that too. This place represents all the southern states types of... More

As usual staff friendly, food good and served with little delay. The past few visits the collards seemed not be seasoned like in the past but the biscuits delicious. Food great, my only suggestion the patio tables seemed to be wiped down and cleaned better. Also it seemed every time a table was sat they were missing something (sugar, salt,... More

Had a party of 8 on Sunday afternoon. They squeezed together a round table and a rectangle table which were too close to the neighboring tables so no one could get past. The BBQ brisket was good. I didn't realize it came with the BBQ sauce on it and would have preferred to have the sauce on the side and... More

As you approach this place, the aroma is smoky deliciousness, but somehow that gets lost in the food. How is that possible - the BBQ sandwich taste like you were getting it from a fast food joint. The sides are primarily fired and the tea is okay. I'm not a huge fan and not sure what would compel me to... More

The food isn't bad, but if you're in the mood for great BBQ, this isn't your place. The staff is really friendly and the drive-thru is convenient. Call in advance for takeout if you're in a rush. There seems to always be a line. Likely, because there are no amazing BBQ restaurants in the area, so most settle for decent.... More

Anytime we want to go somewhere, we mostly always choose Jim N Nicks. The foods always is good at this one in Smyrna. The only time I don't like to go is on a Sunday afternoon because the service can be considerably slow. I wish they would carry fried okra! The biscuits are the best.

While visiting friends we stopped in for dinner, apart from being an out of the way place it was worth the stop, numerous selections to make. Each one of us tried different things and shared. The nachos are good as is their loaded baked potato which is HUGE, their little corn muffins are very good. Service very good, staf very... More

I can only give this a 3 out of 5 due to it took 20 minutes in their drive through waiting to finally get my order which was only a bbq chicken sandwich and mac n cheese, the sandwich barely had any bbq sauce at all on it, and then the chicken was a bit dry, mac n cheese was... More

It's really not bad, but BBQ in the south is a full on competition. Jim 'N Nick's is good, but it's not the best by a long shot. For one, it has too much of a chain feel. Second, I've been three times now and every single time they have gotten our order wrong. They have ALWAYS made amends and... More
