Anyone who hasn't been to Il Giallo is missing out on one of the most perfect restaurants in Atlanta. We live and die for good Italian food and the quality, selection and portion size are as correct as any restaurant here or in Italy. Definitely...we recommend it!!More

Our first time here. And it will not be our last !! Used OpenTable for reservations. Plenty of parking in front. Very professional and friendly staff. Our waitress Virginia was wonderful. Food was perfectly prepared and delicious.

Oh man, where do I begin. This restaurant is the most overpriced, pathetic excuse for a "high end" Italian restaurant. They try to give a vibe of being classy to justify the ridiculous prices of items on the menu, all the while having bland and...tasteless food. Worse than the food though, is the customer service. From the bartenders, servers, and even the managers, everyone is extremely rude and unhelpful and provide horrible service from start to finish. They make you feel shamed for having simple requests/questions instead of being accommodating. Save yourself the trouble and go to Olive Garden instead, it would be more worthwhile!More

Just had dinner here for the first time and had mixed feelings. The food was tasty, especially the pizza, but the prices are pretty high. The real issue, however, was our waiter. While our water glasses got refilled quickly, our waiter would disappear for long...periods of time. This was particularly annoying when we told him we needed another minute to look at the menu, and he didn't come back for at least 20 minutes. So, good food but we probably won't be going back anytime soon.More

We were in the area for a team conference/work event. They had our dinner planned at the restaurant which has some private rooms in the back that fit our group perfectly. The meals were coursed and picked ahead of time so all we had to...do was eat. The service was excellent as they were quick at bringing out the food - additionally, they were quick with topping off the wine glasses. Their desserts were delicious.More

We had the appetizer of fried seafood and broccoli with red sauce, salty. Lasagna and Veal Piccata, very salty. The waitress was very pleasant but just didn't have much time to attend us once more people came in. It was clear that she was stretched...too thin, waiting on too many tables, as the restaurant like many, was short-staffed.More

We have visited this restaurant numerous times and have enjoyed each visit. They have some excellent dishes and rarely has a new dish disappointed. One bone to pick though. If you’re spending $200 per couple with drinks, wine, etc., why do you have to have...to apply a surcharge for a martini (vs. a ‘regular drink’) and a separate surcharge for blue cheese olives? That’s bush league. Next, you’ll be imposing a surcharge if I use the bathroom.More

Must add to your list of restaurants. They were featured on Atlanta Eats and they didn't disappoint. The service was amazing. Nicole was our hostess and talk about a great spirit and just kind. I had the calamari and my daughter had the Fresh Baked...Focaccia Bread. The calamari was very fresh and the bread was hot like they just took it from the oven. Normally, I can finish a dish without a to go box, but the Chicken Parmigiana changed that. A featured dish and there's plenty to eat!!! Huge portion. Great taste too. My daughter had the Catch of the Day which was Dorade fish. It looked great and she loved the taste and texture. We had cheese cake for dessert and now I found a favorite spot for cheese cake. Mixed drinks weren't watered-down. Excellent experience. Cost are average. No military discount. Plenty of parking. I recommend this restaurant for service and quality of food. Must add to you list of restaurants while visiting Atlanta.More

Haven't been in years, and probably won't go back for awhile. It was just average and not worth the trip. Garlic bread was returned because it had too much garlic. Lasagna was fine; veal scaloppini was okay, but had too many capers. The side order...of fettucine was the highlight. Didn't order dessert. Place was loud; no one wore a mask.More

So bad. We all had different salads and different entrees. Blah salads, terrible pasta dishes. Embarrassing trying to eat a little to keep evening light and fun.

We had delightful time having our special Valentines dinner here. It was part of our 25th shared Valentines occasion. It was also our first visit to this place. It was packed, we were early for our reservation. The hostess seated us early. We had a...meat and cheese tray that was very tasty. You have to like dry salami and prosciutto to enjoy this. I had the absolute best veal picatta I have ever had. My wife had an excellent spaghetti and meatballs. This place is about an hour drive from home, but if we have occasion to be over that way again, we'll make sure to go by again.More

We love il Giallo! The atmosphere is excellent as well as the service. Their pasta is handmade and out of this world. My favorite dish is the spare ribs but everything I’ve had is great. Get the anchovies on the Caesar Salad.

Great food. Service was below average. They asked if we had an occasion to celebrate and we responded yes. They confirmed at the door and again the waitress asked. Nothing was ever done by anyone. Too bad they did everything else right.

Best Italian in Atlanta. Best bartender Sharon will remember your preferences. Server Virginia is smoothe. Branzino and deconstructed lasagna are winners.
