We had dishes for 5 and they were all fresh and tasty, well packaged for takeout and leftovers. I would say that the prices are higher than the usual Chinese takeout, though.

We have been a customer of Canton Cook II since they opened. Since the Covid19 Canton Cook II has closed the dining room, but does a fantastic job with take out. They do not have curb side pick up, but limit only 2 customers at...a time in pick up area to pick up the orders. All staff have masks on. The prices have increased a bit, but quality is high.More
Does anyone know why the African American family of 6 was asked to leave the establishment Canton Cook II on Roswell Rd in Sandy Springs, Ga on Christmas Day 12/25/2019 about 5:30 pm?... they didn't seem to be causing any disturbances and sat while waiting...for a server for an hour... I can say the service/meat and plant based nourishment is less than average. What ashame... even in this climate of impeachment and everything else it seems strange for the police to have to be called on a family with an elderly person assisted with a cane to be asked to leave by a police escort...you would have a better time watching an Aloe plant grow than an experience like this one... Thank you.More
Terrible service . Dirty place . Terrible food . Carpet stained . Don’t go . Waiters rude . Don’t pick up plates . All food comes at once
Tripadvisor said #1 in Sandy Springs for good reason. I took my 80yo Dad to dinner here tonight and he can't stop talking about bow good the food was, especially the sweet tea. We had wonton soup and sizzling rice soup, both were piping hot...and delicious. Our main dishes were Chicken Fried Rice and Chicken with Broccoli & Snow peas (by special request). The food was as good as I have had in any Chinatown across the country (to include New York, DC, Chicago, & San Fransisco)! The service was impeccable and very friendly. I will definitely return!More
Dinner with daughter and family. Fairly large venue with service that was too fast and seemed rushed. The food was good but the egg rolls were 100% cabbage with no other veggies. I found the dishes to be on the bland side. Would return if...convenient. Hope this helps.More
We got to Canton II quite often and have quickly found good food combinations from the menu. Try the garlic pork chops and chicken wings from the Appetizer menu; the egg roll is also good. We also like the flat noodles with beef and brown...sauce, and also the Hongkong/ Chinese wonton soup (which is not on the menu). This is wonton soup on a higher level. Make your own buffet. We also like the beef brisket soup as an option. They are closed on Mondays. Just try....More
My wife and I stopped here based on a recommendation from our Son who had been visiting from Wash. DC. He knows his way around the restaurant business, and his take on this restaurant was spot on. We had what I'll call old standbys of...Sweet and Sour Shrimp and Tender Beef with Oyster Sauce, both were very good and plentiful (there were about 12 or 14 very large shrimp). The beef was the best and most tender I have ever had this side of San Francisco. My wife had a glass of the House Merlot for about $4 and immediately said it was the best restaurant Merlot she has ever had. Service was fast but not too fast and price was what I would call 'high side' for Chinese, but no complaints it was worth the price.More
Coming home on Sunday night after a Falcons game, we found ourselves in Sandy Springs, tired and hungry and wanting to try someplace new....Canton Cook II at the corner of Abernathy and Roswell Road was it. As we parked, at least 8 parties - families...and couples came and went though the front door. Good sign! Big restaurant, Huge menu. Generous portions. Lots of regulars eating here who went and picked up their own take out containers as if they were at home! We got our comfort food favorites - hot and sour soup, garlic chicken for me and shrimp fried rice for my husband...All excellent. Attentive service in spite of the fact the restaurant was full and busy. It as ou first time, but won't be our last!More
Good food and variety. This was my first time but my husband has been there several times before. Once your order is taken they are quick to bring it to your table. The food is plentiful and very tasty. I will go back again.
Our family loves eating here because of the authentic Chinese taste of the foods that are served here. It is the best Chinese restaurant we have dined out so far and I highly recommend this place. There is a wide variety of selection in the...menu and foods are served fresh. The foods are delicious and appetizing, good serving size and not so expensive. It's usually crowded on weekends but it's good to call first for reservation. The servers are kind and accommodating.More
Excellent and plentiful menu. Service is excellent as is the food preparation. They are always busy which tells one it is popular for the right reasons. Very highly recommended
We eat at this restaurant about once a week. The food is good but the service is indifferent. We had family coming in to town and wanted to go there for dinner on a Sunday evening. We called early in the week and they said...that it would be no problem but call on the day of the dinner to confirm. When we called the second time and asked for a table of 9 or at least two tables next to one another, the answer was "No, impossible!" Never again. There are better Chinese restaurants in the area with more gracious hospitality. An "I am sorry" would have made the experience less annoying.More
Food here is usually good. Last night it was just ok. The spicy squid was tough. The chicken with ginger and green onion mediocre. Staff is very abrupt. When ordering tea the response was “3 dollar charge”. Didnt ask if we wanted brown rice. Just...brought white. Not sure we will be back anytime soon.More
There is nothing to that makes this restaurant special. It serves Chinese food but it is far from "gourmet". It feels like it is massed produced in the kitchen and thrown on your plate. The taste of it all left me cold.
