This is the kind of meal you remember for a life time. Holy moly. Unforgettable food that’s one of the best meals I think I’ve ever had, or at the very least the best meal I’ve had in the past five years. For appetizers we...started off with their Beef Empanada and their Provoleta. The Provoleta is out of this world, when we first ordered it I was hesitant because of the lemon olive oil in it but it really enhances the flavor and the tomato confit on it was good enough to eat on its own. For entrees, I wanted to order their Filet Mignon but after talking to our server I decided to order their specialty, the slow-cooked short rib. It didn’t take super long, but when it came it was a dish I would’ve waited hours for because it was amazing. The crust and seasoning was amazing and it just melted in my mouth. 10/10 and I hope to see this restaurant really take off in the near future!More

The bartender had some special cocktails that were a perfect start to the evening. The shrimp risotto and short ribs with risotto were both excellent. The scene stealer was the bolognese that was unique but amazing. Wait staff is friendly and never rushed us during...the evening. One of the best on SSI but not fancy like other stuffy well known establishments on SSI.More

My husband and I both had wonderful meals. He had the special, a rib eye dish, and I had the grilled shrimp in butternut squash risotto. Lovely presentation and great taste. We had key lime pie for dessert—very good, but no match for Palmer’s Village...Cafe.More

We were warmly welcomed by the chefs and staff for a special event for 16! After an empanada demonstration we sat down for delicious and unique appetizers of fried provolone, sausage and beef empanadas. Great wine choices for pairing. Dinner was amazing as was dessert....What a unique and charming experience. A can’t miss while in St Simons or Brunswick location.More

This is my favorite restaurant on the whole island. The owners are so passionate about the food they put out, combining Argentinian soul from their home country with some delicious homemade Italian dishes. I loved it so much I had them cater my wedding— which...(if anyone’s in the market) was extremely cost effective and my wedding guests are still raving about the food. The empanadas make for a great appetizer and their pasta dishes are worth going back to St Simons Island for. If anyone’s visiting St Simons, this is the place I recommend for the best food.More

We had our rehearsal dinner at Del Sur and they also catered our wedding. Without a doubt the best spot to eat in St Simon’s. If you are looking for a catering service you should 100% go with Del Sur. So many of our wedding...guests came up and said it was the best food they have ever had at a wedding and I absolutely agree! The owners Hernan and Alberto are the nicest guys and worked so hard to make our wedding perfect.More

Just ok food, probably would not go back if we visit St. Simon. Just ok, waitstaff too. On more of a positive note, place has great curb appeal.

I expected more from the reviews I read on line. This restaurant has zero atmosphere and the dress recommendation of resort casual is a joke. Try more like daisy dukes, t-shirts and flip flops.

One of our sons has been anxious to try Del Sur for a couple of years, so we made a point to visit. Unfortunately, I don't imagine we will go back. One member of our party had a really good pasta dish, but the rest...of the food was okay. The real problem with our visit was our server. It is possible she was just having a really bad day, but she seemed to care little that we were there, and she wanted to complain more about the restaurant's systems than take care with our questions. It really soured our mood and colored our experience. I hope it was an anomaly.More

We were here with my son and his family over the Fourth holiday. We ate at Del Surs for dinner. We were all delighted with the service, the food and overall ambiance of the restaurant. Two of our ordered were for the Ribeye steak. They...make their salt at the restaurant and the flavor of your steak explodes. My son is well travelled and he said it was the best steak he had eaten on quite a while. My granddaughter had buttered noodles, which are hand made at the restaurant, with parmadora sauce. It was delicious. I had the steak salad which was excellent. Highly recommend Del Sur!More

This was a nice, quaint little restaurant. Not too awfully busy, service was astounding! My date told our waiter that we both wanted a margarita and to tell the bartender we wanted GOOD margaritas. He came back with the most perfect margarita...nothing fancy, a good...amount of tequila and the taste was delicious. We both had the steak, cooked medium rare. The grilled vegetables that came with it was just delicious. There was some veggie in the mix that I did not know what it was. It was orange like a carrot, but the flavor was so good. We both skipped dessert.More

My wife and I were disappointed with our recent experience at Del Sur (we'd eaten here at our last trip to St Simon's in 2020 and were really looking forward to a return visit). For starters, with a reservation we were seated at what I...came to believe was the worst table in the restaurant (while other same sized tables were unoccupied) ... this wasn't a "dealbreaker," and we didn't complain, but I felt like they could have done better. We both ordered the Filet Mignon wrapped in pancetta, and while the steaks were cooked to order, we both felt they were really lacking in flavor and were a serious disappointment. On the positive side, the Key Lime pie was excellent, as was the Malbec with dinner, and our server was really good. Not a terrible experience, but definitely not worth the cost, and one of the more disappointing meals on our recent trip to St Simon's.More

We had a great meal! Our waiter, Kyle, was friendly, enthusiastic, and attentive. The outside looks a bit shabby but the inside is adorable. We were seated in the side room decorated with wine bottles and books. Our food, chicken marsala, was excellent! The Ceasars...salad was good as was the warm bread. The chocolate cake was really good but didn't taste too much like Kahlua. We still really enjoyed it! Great little place!More
