Nothing fancy, but very good food. We had a variety of bbq meat entrees and chicken tenders. Everything tasted very good. The French fries were crispy and the mac-n-cheese was very cheesy.

This small little joint has excellent BBQ. It's located just outside the entrance to the King and Prince Hotel. You know it's good cause they have the cooker right outside and it smells terrific. The pulled pork is tasty, more toward a Carolina style, but...not exactly. The place is really small but has a cool beachy, and divey vibe.More
The restaurant is dirty and the food was yesterday’s bread. Dirty brooms and dust pan near tables. Nothing good about this place except one friendly server.
If your in the mood for a Burger or Ribs and still have sand between your toes this place is for you! My personal Cheeseburger Heaven on this little island.
Pulled Pork Baked Beans Brunswick Stew (Amazing!) Good sauce too! Really great lunch! Definitely would do again.
A good place to pick up casual barbeque and other sandwiches, along with french fries, hush puppies, etc. Just a block from the beachfront at the King & Prince, if you're at the beach, hungry and don't mind a short walk - this is a...good place for an inexpensive lunch.More
Fried chicken salad was better than big chain restaurant. Smoked turkey was not over smoked, good flavor. Fried okra was correctly prepared. Worth a visit. Owner works it. Not an absentee manager. Might be a little rustic for a city slicker, STAY and eat, you’ll...be glad you did.More
Being from Texas I’m picky about my barbecue beef. Brisket can be one of two things...moist and juicy with lots of flavor or dry. I always ask when I go into a barbecue restaurant if they can make sure the brisket isn’t dry. My husband...picked up our order to go and he didn’t know to look at it before coming home. I had ordered pork ribs which were meaty and tasty and juicy. They were really good . He ordered the brisket plate and maybe a quarter of it got eaten in the end...the rest was too dry for either of our taste. And the sides were all very good: barbecue beans, coleslaw, potato salad and particularly the fried okra. Locals had steered us here since we moved to Saint Simons a few weeks ago and said they thought it was better than Southern Soul. We had already visited Southern Soul and had an excellent experience so I would put this as number two on my list personally.More
This is one of those off the beaten path local favorites and I can see why. The barbecue was tender and juicy and the sides were great! The sandwich is served on a warm fresh bun which practically melts in your mouth!
Quiet place to eat some Q with tasty sauces and a decent selection. Both pork and brisket were good and not dry. Would like to see a side option for burnt ends.
