About
On any given day, when you stroll into Palm Coast Coffee, Café and Pub at 318 Mallery St. on St. Simons Island, you’ll find a nice array of locals enjoying one of their favorite Village hangouts and island visitors who are thrilled to have found such a quaint, little hot spot. You’ll quickly discover that Palm Coast isn’t just about coffee.Like you’d expect from any good coffee shop, Palm Coast serves some of the freshest coffee, lattes, and espresso on the island, as well as a variety of homemade pastries and the island’s best homemade muffins. However, what people might not realize is that Palm Coast also has a great selection of craft beers that change weekly, and a well-stocked full bar for wine and a wide variety of cocktails. Always be sure to check the special board for new and seasonal concoctions—both in coffee creations and bar beverages! Looking for a relaxing spot for breakfast- Palm Coast has it with great creations as well as eggs your way- all outside on the patio. If it’s something a little more substantial you crave, the lunch and dinner menu includes fresh homemade soups and a variety of other fresh, creative selections that you won’t find elsewhere on the island. The seared ahi is a well-known menu favorite. There are also a number of tasty vegetarian options available. Seating is abundant and pet-friendly on the sunny outdoor patio and or in the shade of the courtyard. The other thing you’ll find in the courtyard is a terrific covered stage for the musicians who play here each weekend. Palm Coast books both local and regional acts and is one of the best outdoor venues for live music in the Golden Isles. Open mic nights are popular year round, and, boy, does this place drawn a crowd on summer evenings! Day or night, this is a place where locals, visitors, families, and pets gather—all are welcome.Stop in to have a cup of coffee and take advantage of the free WiFi service while you study. Grab a beer and spend a sunny afternoon in a rocking chair on the porch with your pooch. For date night, come early for dinner then stay to listen to some lively tunes in the courtyard. You’ll agree Palm Coast Coffee is a little bit more than your average coffee shop. In fact, you might just fall in love.

Stopped in for a later Sunday lunch and after a 15 min wait our party of 4 was seated. The inside seating area is authentic.......probably pretty much as it was decades ago.....there is also seating outside. We promptly placed our order and waited longer than I liked for our apple/ham paninis and a tuna melt. Sides were orzo salad and chili. Food was excellent and worth the wait. Service otherwise was quite good.

This little restaurant was a gem of a find. Great fresh sandwiches with exceptional sides - not your typical fries or chips. Couldn't stay away from the grouper sandwich. It was amazing every time I ordered it. And order hot tea! I got the coconut white tea in a beautiful little mesh bag and it was delicious. Great service and selection.

We stopped at this cozy cafe on two occasions. The first, was just a pit stop for coffee, tea and mid-day snack. We liked the place so much that we returned two days later for a full breakfast. Their Chai Tea Latte is divine and this was what made me return. Staff service was excellent and friendly. Breakfast plates were abundant and provided leftovers. The pimento cheese appetizer was sooo good. This was my first taste of the spread and really loved it. Its got a kick but tame enough to enjoy over and over with the flatbread provided. We also ordered the Egg White Morning Sandwich and the Back Home Sandwich. The grits and potato sides were excellent as the sandwiches were a complete meal with toasted bread and all the fixins'. If you are in the village area, stop in for breakfast or lunch. They do close at at 2 PM but have coffee and dessert take-out till about 3, based on our experience.

Excellent food and I have loved this restaurant for a long time as a local but one of the female servers decided to be so rude to my friends and I yesterday 3/31/2021 that I had to write this. I used to wait tables at busy restaurants in resort towns including St Simons and I don’t understand why it’s not ok to ask nicely about the food when we have to be somewhere and if it wasn’t coming soon, to ask the kitchen to put it in a to go container. She made me write my own name on the wait list touching a well-used pen and the hand sanitizer was obviously clogged and so not being used by the servers. The rudest person I have encountered at this awesome place.

We ordered curbside pickup so we could eat on the beach. The wraps were delicious as I had the Meditteranean Wrap and another person had the Thai Chicken Wrap. The third member of our group ordered the Vanilla Cinnamon French Toast. Although they said it would be ready in 30 minutes, I still had to wait about 5 minutes once I got there. Due to social distancing, I was a bit uncomfortable waiting inside because the area was in a high-traffic zone between the kitchen and the tables. Other than that, it was very good food and I recommend.

Great vibe to this place. While I arrived after the kitchen was closed, I did enjoy the ambience of the outdoor bar. The gravel floor, wood-plank stage and great beer list were exactly what I was after. I would recommend they have some snack food or late night pizza option when there is live music.

We stopped in here on our last day on St. Simons and wish we'd done so sooner! It is a lovely location, with lots of outdoor seating (equipped with two local cats). The coffee and lattes were superb, and breakfast was delicious. Hubby had the Belgian Waffle, and I had the French Toast; both were served with 100% real maple syrup, whipped cream and strawberries, and were so good. The staff were friendly, and the prices were very reasonable ($8 for the plates). Always a good sign when the locals come in for coffees to go, and well worth the visit.

we stopped here before heading back to Atlanta. After a stroll around the pier and shopping at touristy places we wanted to eat brunch before we left for home, My wife had the garden sandwich which was actually fantastic. I had the heuvos rancheros and i totally loved it, My daughter had the pancake and my son had the grilled cheese - the chips and potatoes were fresh and tasty - they kept refilling our drinks and coffee - really nice and hearty brunch. highly recommended

After a day of walking around in The Village and hanging out on Mallery Street, we completely lost track of time and needed to grab some lunch before we headed back to our condo. I believe we caught the tail end of the serving day, but the servers did not rush us or make us feel unwelcome at all. Our meal was one of the best we had during our week long stay. I highly recommend the Caribbean Chicken Salad sandwich on croissant. The bread was fresh and flaky. The chicken salad was delicious. It had a very light curry flavor- just enough to give taste and savory sweetness. Portion was huge. Only ate 1/2.
They had some lovely pastries in their case but we were so full we did not try them. My husband had the club sandwich and only ate half of it because it was so big. My niece had the blacked mahi sandwich- again only ate half. We had some great left overs.

Walked in just to pick up coffee. When I arrived there were 3 people in line. It took 45mins just to get 2 coffees and pasties. Multiple people left without ever ordering and there were still 6 people in line behind me when I left. There was 1 girl making ALL the coffee orders and she was slow as Christmas. An older gentleman was walking around, that I assume was the owner, and moved the line because it was blocking the flow of traffic but never addressed the reason for the line. Every staff member ignored our very long wait and no one even attempted to assist. With all that being said the coffee and the pastries were NOT worth the wait.

Palm Coast is an excellent choice for breakfast, lunch, coffee, or dessert! Everyone in our group of 6, including four children, was completely satisfied with their meal. We enjoyed the Thai chicken wrap with orzo salad, the Palm salad, the Paradise croissant, and French toast with strawberries and whipped cream (generous extra whipped cream at the kids’ requests!). The LARGE iced lattes to go were also great. We were sad that we had no room for the very generous slices of red velvet cake offered at the counter.
Service was exceptional and welcoming.

We stopped here after a 10 mile bike ride looking for a refreshing lunch. This spot did not disappoint. Plenty of outdoor seating for these COVID days we are stuck with. Staff wore masks and were very friendly.
I had the Palm Salad-and added a scoop of chicken salad, which was some of the best chicken salad I have had. Salad was generous on the berries, apples and blue cheese crumble over mixed greens.
My daughter had the Mediterranean Wrap and enjoyed it. Large portion and comes with a side.
We hope to stop in again before before we head back home.

We live part-time on SSI and when we are here we bring friends to Palm Coast. The menu is lots of fun with some unusual (in a good way) choices and the desserts are incredible. We all shared a meze platter and then some sandwiches. Excellent and fresh. Angelica, our server, was friendly and very efficient, even though (good sign) the cafe was very busy. Highly recommend.

Pet friendly establishment with good breakfast. My wife and I took our two Aussies here for breakfast. Service was prompt and professional. Business seems to be following CDC guidelines. Coffee and food came out hot. Only issue was the sausage was a little over cooked (dry).

This is always on our list when on SSI. Normally we do lunch, but on a quick trip this time we picked up dessert. The pumpkin chocolate chip cake with cream cheese frosting is addicting ! O M goodness, it was delightful! So good, we picked up a second slice the next day. Huge portion and enough for two.
The coffee selection is nice, with creativity with lattes, etc. The pumpkin spice was perfectly made.
Can't wait until we are back on the island again!
