We wanted something different and local for breakfast. This place delivered! The pork tenderloin special was amazing. I have never had grits this good either. My son was also very pleased with the banana custard pancakes.

If you're craving a true southern style breakfast, then Palmers is a must. If you're a self-proclaimed "foodie," then Palmers is a must. The omelettes are fantastic. The french toast is yummy and biscuits and gravy are off the chain. Service was the best we've had on the island. Their lunch and dinner menu look amazing. It's no wonder so... More

I had breakfast here twice while on vacation. Their pancakes with blueberries, oats, and nuts are amazing! They're incredibly busy, but the mood is relaxed and friendly. But, I found a coupon on Yelp. For $10 I got $20 of food, so I bought it. I tried to use that coupon on both visits but was unsuccessful. I was told... More

Went to brunch, a bit of a wait as we were a party of four. The service was very friendly. We all ordered the Surfrider. It was like Eggs Benedict. The base was a crabcake and a breaded fried tomato, with two poached eggs and Hollandaise sauce. They were delicious, I also enjoyed a reasonably priced glass of Chardonnay wine.

I was there with my family for breakfast before heading home from vacation. There were eight of us and we had a VERY short wait. The food was incredible! Everything was delicious. Portions were very reasonable and satisfying. Don't miss this place. If you have to wait, don't fret...it is totally worth it.

Our trolley driver recommended this place and he was right. The kitchen is QUICK. We had no wait, but the place was full. Our food was good, good portions, reasonable prices.

Great breakfast/lunch at a local dining institution. Daily specials & good selection of traditional breakfast choices as well as salads, sandwiches & soup options for lunch. This is not your ordinary line-cook driven menu, these are talented chefs putting a creative spin on southern comfort foods. Casual, neighborhood gem with plenty of street parking. They also offer a limited dinner... More

A great place where the locals enjoy gathering for breakfast or lunch. An expansive menu of unique plates that tempt your pallet and is very satisfying.

Don't care what time you go to breakfast here, you will wait. Is it worth it ...you bet. Nothing special about the decor, but service is top notch and the menu is enlightening. We had the Coastal Delight, The Local & the Huevos Rancheros all delicious. Why have the Rancheros in GA, when CA & Mexico do it the best... More

Having completed week #1 of a 2-week stay at the unsurpassed Cloister in Sea Island, Georgia, I have a sense of the food scene on Sea Island and the adjacent larger, more diverse, Saint Simon's Island. There is so much good to say about this area of the Southern coast including, of course, the warm weather, beautiful beaches and proud,... More
