My daughter and I stopped in for a bite for lunch. Cold, rainy, I wanted some "comfort food" and there was nothing on the menu! Our server, Tink, (who is as cute as her name) suggested the corn chowder and home made crackers! Outstanding!!
Service was outstanding, good delicious, drinks great!

This is our “ go to “ Mexican restaurant. The food is always good, served hot and with perfect seasoning. The Ranchero sauce entrees are my favorite. El Zarape is a step above your chain Mexican restaurants. Also, they have Trivia on Wednesday evenings which is fun but does fill the place up.

Really good and fast Tex Mex. Friendly staff. Good margaritas too. Wednesday trivia and occasional karaoke in the back room. We just keep coming back.

The servers are nice and friendly. The food came out quick and was hot! My favorite is the quesadilla dinner! I have been making a point to go here it is a hidden treasure in Roswell and reasonably priced.

Food and service was average at best. Beef crispy taco had little flavor and chicken enchiladas same. Iced tea tasted old.

I love taking the kids on Mondays for dollar tacos. I get the tacos and the kids get cheese dip or nachos. The staff is always so kind and patient and helpful. We LOVE El Zarape!

We loved our experience here! First time visit, and our waitress was very helpful and friendly. She made sure the whole time we had full cups and our table was clean and made sure our order was exactly what we asked for.
Their steak fajitas are TO DIE FOR! The steak was seasoned and cooked to perfection. And their Mexican rice is the best I’ve ever had; spicy and cooked perfectly.
I highly recommend this place !!

El Zarape is a wonderful little Mexican restaurant located in the heart of downtown Roswell. The food is terrific and the service is friendly, plus there is never a wait for a table. My wife and I have tried almost everything on the menu and it has all been great, with the possible exception of the fish tacos which were just OK. The carnitas and the chilaquiles are the best I have ever eaten. The carnitas melt in your mouth and the chilaquiles have the added bonus of having 2 eggs on top, as they should but rarely do. Love this restaurant!

Had dinner here for the first time. My wife had recommended it and I was not disappointed. This is a true Tex-Mex restaurant.
I had the Enchiladas Supremo and they were excellent. My wife had the House Soup and I tried some of it and it was excellent.
Our service was good, the ambiance was true Tex-Mex and the prices were good.
I will be back here many more times.

This restaurant is #5 out of 40 restaurants I want to review in or near downtown Roswell. We went to El Zarape for a family dinner. The service was friendly and the food came super fast. My husband loved his beef burrito and margarita. I ordered crunchy beef taco and cheese enchilada. The taco was a little soggy from laying in the rice but not bad and the enchilada was really good. We all loved the chips and salsa. We'd come here again for sure.

First off, get the Mexican guacamole. Second, I've never had anything bad here.
We had to send everything we ordered back, which was frustrating. Nothing showed up as it had been ordered, so we were frustrated.
Decent little local place though.
